    Hi,

I found out I was pregnant in Aug 2014. After a month or so I had a bit of light bleeding so went to A&E where they checked me over and gave me a scan. I was 7 weeks along and everything was well and a strong heart beat so we went home feeling re assured. When I went for my 12 week scan we received the heart breaking news that my baby's heart had stopped beating at 9 weeks. I was informed this was known as a missed miscarriage. I was told that because I was 9 weeks along and that my body had held onto the baby that my only option was an  Erpc. The surgery seemed to go ok and I was told I should have a period in a few weeks. 3 months later still no sign of a period so I went to see my GP. I was basically told these things take time and to just go home and wait. I waited another 3 months (6 in total) and still no period so I went back and the Gp agreed to do some blood tests. The results of my blood tests showed that I wasn't ovulating so I am now awaiting a date for an ultra sound scan. We have been trying to get pregnant again since Jan and at times I really have felt like I am pregnant but all the tests are saying negative. I've also been doing a lot of reasearch online where I keep reading stories about Ashermans syndrome which is scaring me to death as I keep thinking that maybe the surgeon has damaged my womb and caused this as I've not heard of anyone else who has waited 7 months for a period after such a procedure. Has anyone had a similar experience or can give any advice?
