Trying to conceive

Hi all! Brand new to this site but just looking for some advice really. I use an app to log my periods and as a result it then predicts when you will ovulate and according to my last one, I was ovulating 6 days ago (my partner and I had some cuddles and kisses 5 days ago haha!)Today, I have been experiencing dull aching pains in the left side of my pelvis which has now started at the top of my pubic area. It's nothing major, nothing like my period cramps but still noticable. I've also experienced a 'fluttering' sensation. Over the past couple of days I've noticed some creamy discharge (sorry to be so descriptive!) which is not something I'd usually experience. Along with this I've been quite emotional today, crying at the TV twice and getting into an argument with myself! My period, according to this log, is due in 12 days.I have been googling for the majority of the day (I'm in the UK) and just gotten myself confused really.I haven't been on any form of contraception since February this year due to having lower limb surgery. Before that I was on the mini pill (irregularly) and the last 'permenant' form of contraception I had was the implant that was removed in July 2012 - just in case any of that information helps! Just any advice (is this too early for me to experience anything?) or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Oh, and just to explain - it says 'all day' as I posted this in the early hours originally as I couldn't sleep and im clarifying I'm from the UK because I think it was an Australian site!

Maybe try an early response very sensitive test, seems quite a long way from your expected period, do you usually have a long cycle? Mine is usually 28 days

Thanks for the reply. I do have a FR test, wasn't sure whether to leave it a couple days longer.
I tried to work out my cycle on an online calculator by putting my last 6 in and it calculater an average of 32 days 😕

If you can wait until your period is due probably best, the result will be more accurate. I can't so bought cheap tests from eBay so it doesn't matter so much cost wise and test most days.

I bought some cheapies from a £ shop, obviously the quality isn't amazing but figured they all do the same thing? Anyway, did one and nothing going on. Will keep the FR for AF due date.
Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated! 😊

Your welcome. I figured the same, I bought 50 of the strips for £3.69 on ebay. I just look for them to give an indication really. Occasionally I use some from home bargains, they dont show any different so I'm happy

So, 11 DPO, 6 until AF and lots of symptoms.
Just done a FRER and the result - BFN. There was a very faint grey line (no colour at all, obviously an EVAP) - would you say it's safe to assume (I know you should never - it makes an ass of u + me 🙊) that it hasn't happened this month?

I have to say, although we're not actively TTC, I am disappointed 😔
