I only ever get pain from my left ovary.

It got me wondering if there was something wrong with my right one so I Googled (as you do!!) and came across quite a few posts from other forums saying that this can be quite normal and doesn't mean there is anything wrong.

The long and short of what I read was that one ovary can go about its business nice and quietly while the other might make a huge song and dance about it.  My left one is obviously just an attention seeker!!!!

Anyone else only ever feel pain on one side when ovulating?

Yes, only ever feel it on my left too! I seem to recall my left one is in an odd place - I had an internal scan for PCOS many years ago & the sonographer had trouble locating it - she practically turned the probe through 90 degrees looking for it - bought tears to my eyes! Sure she said it was very low down which might explain the fact I only feel it that side.

I'm exactly the same Reb with my right ovary. I've had to have three scans in the last week with my IUI cycle and they've not seen it once.

It brought tears to my eyes too-the most undignified pain I've experienced :-(

I've not noticed either ovary but it did make me smile imagining one of your ovaries throwing a tantrum at having to work whilst the other just gets on with it!
