Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

to say hi and that I've just started temping.
And that one of my male colleagues asked me today if I was pregnant as I had a bulge in my tummy, but I had to explain it was only a food baby. I love where I work.
So this temping malarky, will it all become clear to me? I've started using fertility friend and I seem to be a pretty constant 37.4ish so hopefully just before I ovulate this will increase - does it increase by much? are we talking a whole degree?
Thank you in advance. I love this board because I can ask all kinds of stupid questions.

Firstly is your thermometer 2 decimal places? they recommend it is so you can notice the temp difference.
I think fertility friend tells you pre o and post o temp ranges? Or maybe google it. There are also lots of FF users charts look at so you can get an idea of the pattern you may bw looking for.
Hope that helps but im sure an expert will be along soon :)

Good luck with Temping my temp jumped from 35.80 - too 36.5 so a very big jump!
Have you done the free course offered on the website? It's great to get your head around it all

You can see I had my dip before my ovulation and then rose over a few days and then stays above the lines you should get the lines after a few days of being up :)

Your welcome from the 18th is when I used the 2dp thermometer.

Is there always a dip before ovulation, CC? This is my first month temping and I keep getting negative opks, but my temp dropped this morning and maybe I've just missed my surge..
What do you think? Reckon I just missed the LH surge?

I am not 100% sure as I only temped for one month, but from what I can remember I think a temp dip is quite common!

Wonderful! I'm off to consult professor google for confirmation ;)

Not everybody has a temp dip, you certainly shouldn't rely on it. That said, you've had EWCM for a while so it could be ovulation day for you. I wouldn't bother with the temping tutorials. Just take your temp at the same time every day before you do anything else, and put it in to FF. after one or two cycles it will all make sense, without the need for notes and instructions. Definitely get a 2dp thermometer if you can, Babymad on Amazon supply for under £5 delivered.
