Hmm just because even though am at least 5 days before period due (cycle is 23-27 days)I am still desperate to po a stick. I have no symptoms and it may only be 7 days since ovulation and so it would be a bfn anyway. So why do we want to do this to ourselves? Just know will be sad if af arrives at work for eg next wekk but is that any worse than ruining your day by doing a test before having to leave the house?
I need to be strong and resist!

hold out for as long as you can hun. early testing really gets you down when you repeatedly get bfns and then its made even worse if af does come and then you realise how much time and money you have wasted on doing tests. xx

I reckon AF is way more disheartening than BFN, for me anyway, when i get an early BFN theres always hope but when you are waiting & waiting & waiting for the 2ww to be over & feeling every twinge & think Oooh was that something??only to met with a slap in the face one time you go to the loo - i think thats way worse.

best of luck with whatever way you choose to do it!

Funny you should post this, I was thinking just the same thing about 10 mins ago!

I reckon it's probably af showing up, then you definitely know it's game over for another month.

    Good luck! x

I have yet to ever poas! I have always waited for af - but it is horrible hoping and hoping until the very last minute. I'm due af Tues and I plan to wait till then, unless I sucumb to temptation as the tests in the drawer are calling my name this month! lol

Hi I would have to say AF as its more crushing and final blow but then depends on your af really as some women still get light af and go on to get a BFP so I would say a really painful, heavy af hun.

Also BFN can be just as disheartening too but af is defo more final xx

Resist that temptation girl! I find its harder seeing a BFN than af arriving so I would never test until af was due or even late (I was 5 days late last month and never tested). I hate seeing that blank bit on the test...if af arrives instead its just 'oh well, on to next month'.

    Resist though for now!! xx

I think it's worse seeing a BFN. I've been testing for over a week now and it really getting me down seeing BFN. At this point I just want af to arrive so we start again.

I think BFN is far worst - you really get your hopes up before poas and getting that little line on its own is just so soul destroying - the ultimate disappointment for me and you are in limbo then really until AF shows. At least with AF arriving you know you are onto a new cycle where you can ttc again soon.
