Trying to conceive

We only found out yesterday that we're getting our referral, and I'm not sure how long we'll have to wait but there's no time like the present to start preparing, right? The lovely Smarties has already given me some tips about how to prepare, and H and I came up with a couple of things ourselves, but I just wondered if there's anything else we can do?
So far we've got:
- healthy diet (need to read up a bit more on exactly what nutrients will help)
- take our pre-conception vitamins religiously
- cut out caffeine and fizzy drinks, increase water intake
- relax and de-stress - I've got a meditation mp3 so will set aside some time every few days for that
- get H clued up on what is involved
Is there anything I'm missing? Anything glaringly obvious? I want this to work so badly, I want to join the club of first-time successes on here!

Cut out alcohol? Probably goes with the healthy diet though!
Re: the de-stress, try yoga or pilates, it will kill two birds with one stone!
I really really hope you are one of the first-time successes! xxx

I have a friend who has had two successful IVF cycles and she swears by acupuncuture before and just after they put the egg back. I've heard lots of good things about acupuncuture and fertility anyway but it might be worth it! I reeeeally hope this is successful for you!

I think Ducky has got a link to a list of supplements that are supposed to help. Maybe put a shout out for her?

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. Alcohol really isn't an issue as we only drink when we go out, and we never go out! Yoga and pilates sounds like a good idea - pilates is one of those things I keep meaning to take up, I bought a book but then life took a catastrophic turn and it got forgotten about. I'll have to dig it out! Acupuncture frightens the life out of me but I too have heard it can really help - so I Googled for clinics in my area and basically I must live in a very un-acupuncturey area! I'll have to keep looking, see if somewhere new opens up between now and then. Imp you reminded me I've got a list of supplements somewhere at home that I found on the fertility friends website months ago, I'll search that out as well!
