Hi I'm new to this, have read previous months, but a little confused by some of the terms, can you help? We're in our 6th month of trying, thought it would be so easy, but it's not. It's far more stressful than I imagined x

hi ladies count me in also x
i am on cd26 af due on monday! this has been our first proper month ttc after our mc back in july. cycles have been varying between 26-28 days so not too bad really. have found out i have some underlying problems (sticky blood, causing clots in pregnancy which result in mc) so have a consultant app on weds, hoping that i will be able to go there with my BFP and start treatment asap (i can dream!)
feeling quite crampy today though over the last hour although i had af style cramps last time i got my bfp so wont rule this month out yet... promised myself not to test early will just wait and see if af shows up... also got lots of cm (sorry if tmi!) to the point where i have been worried af has arrived
good luck everyone! x x

Count me in - AF due roughly Wednesday ish. Will test next Saturday if she hasn't arrived yet!
Am 10dpoish - not alot of symptoms really, a bit of cramping here and there but that isn't unusual really. My boobs have been a tiny bit sore today but that could be all the jiggling about I did yesterday at zumba lol!!
Hope this is a lucky thread!! x

Please can I join you? My lo is 14 months so was in the Born in september 2011 forum and we were going to wait to ttc til 2013 but we seem to not be preventing a pregnancy so guess we are ttc!!!
AF due 11th but don't think we have done it this month as think we missed ov!

Thanks octarine and heywood yes this will be our first if we manage it.
Nice to know it seems normal for it not to happen straight away. I'm on cd19, af due 18th.
Good luck to everyone this month.

Can I ask how everyone knows when they're ovulating? Do you all use the kits? I've tried the strips this month and bbt testing, but feel like it's not as obvious as I thought it would be!

Sarah - I use a mixture of methods really. Since having my first - I now get quite bad ov cramps - but the vary as to when they occur in relation to ov (so sometimes they come before and other times after ov and sometimes on the day of ov!) So I tried the ov sticks - but could never work out if they wre positive or not.
So I am now using the digital sticks - expensive but worth it! You get a smiley when you get a surge so you know that ov SHOULD happen in the next 12 - 36 hours.
If I am not successful this month - I am going to try charting my BBT. So I can see when I am ovulating after that smiley face and even if I am ovulating. It seems to be taking alot longer this time round!!

Thanks snugglenush, I thought I was stupid not being able to tell with the strips. If we haven't managed it this month I'll go get some digital ones. Good luck to you for a brother or sister for logan.
I also thought I was unusual having a 35 day cycle, but can see others have long ones too.
Everyone is so friendly, so glad I found this site xxx
