Trying to conceive

came off cerezette 10th August, had 4 day bleeds 10th September and 8th October, missed period November along with pregnancy symptoms and faint positive hpts
Negative pregnancy blood test at doctors (less than 1) other hormone levels not great including high prolactin. Now awaiting scan to check for pcos (was last tested 2009, although no definitive proof it was suspected due to symptoms)
negative hpts since and no explanation of what happened last month had a bleed 1st December for 6-7 days started with bright pint spotting, blood was bright red most of period. so decided to just start trying again this month.
Not sure if any of my opks were truly positive as they weren't as dark and clear as control line and not sure when peak occurred I seemed to be getting strong ones at different points over last 2 weeks
Cm seems to have been spot on mostly egg white, I did have very thick mucas when I wiped a couple of days ago
Having a few lower abdominal/pelvic aches nothing different to before.
I take hpts most days, I bought a bag of 50 cheap strips off eBay and found this to be less stressful Than waiting to test.

HI Meme210 hope you're well. It seems like a bit if a rollacoaster for you.
How long have you been trying for and yeah the OPK tests do fluctuate a little too. What did the doctor actually say when you missed a period?

im doing ok, certainly has been a rollercoaster alright.
We have been trying since coming off the pill, haven't been very good at bd' every other day as we both work long and obscure hours. Doctor agreed could be pregnancy when I first went, was very good willing to do what I suggested. when I went back to see him about my blood results this was just before I had bleed he wasn't wanting to pursue the pregnancy line any further but more the pcos line. I took my hpts to this appointment he barely glanced at them and said they are negative. That was end of November still waiting for scan appointment.

Yeah they are becoming more stingy with the care provided if you're not sure you're pregnant. You pretty much have to know for certain to get any notice -.-.
Yeah I can be hard, I mean for us it's really easy because I'm not working and my husband is the only one so plenty of time. Maybe try and do the last minute spontaneous BD before bed time?
Are you also taking folic acid and all those pregnancy tablets?
So you have PCOS? Or they're trying to rule it out? Xx

I was talking a prepregnancy multivitamin supplement which also has folic acid. Not currently taking, should start again.
They suspect I have pcos but no proof yet.

Hmm my friend has PCOS and there have been a few times she's produced "false postive" then later found out she wasn't in fact pregnant.
Good luck though I hope it all goes well!
We've been trying for 4 months now it's unbelievable sometimes...I'm 4 days a way from being allowed to test. Try an app call opia it's really really good

Thank you Sapphy, I've not heard of anyone else having false positives.
It would be 4 months for us too we started trying as soon as I came off the pill. I was getting lapse at taking it before I actually came off it.
I use Ovia The app So I can track everything too. I'm 2 days away from testing according to the app, although I don't know that the ovulation prediction was right this time. the first 2 cycles I had were 28 days. I am currently on day cd26 due AF this Wednesday according to Ovia.
Good luck to you too.
