Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi, I have yet another thing to start worrying about while TTC after my recent miscarriage.... And as usual cannot find a straight answer on good old Google.
Is it just me or is it getting cold much sooner this year... I'm nesh anyway and moan about being cold in the summer, but this year seems colder.... So anyway I was going to put the good old electric blanket on the bed tonight and then thought twice. I usually have it REALLY hot every winter. Obviously I know the rule on hot baths, Jacuzzis etc... So can I or can I not use the electric blanket while TTC??
My big worries are that while TTC it could lower other halfs sperm count or do something to me and my fertility. 2nd worry is that in the 2 waiting weeks after ovulation period when you're not sure if you could be pregnant that I conceive and use my electric blanket and cause another miscarriage!!!
The joys of TTC, eh?.. Anyway I wouldn't use it how I normally do in winter, I think if I us it on the lowest heat for longer periods it should be fine, rather than using for a shorter time at an hotter temp. Does anyone else have a take on this to help me make my mind up?????
Thank you in advance x x x

Hi hun. I'm really not sure to be honest, but didn't want to read and run. I don't think it would have any impact on you ttc, but if you are worried about it, its prob worth not using it & stressing yourself out. If you cant go without it, maybe you could turn it on for an hour before you go to bed, or scrap it entirely & use extra blankets, or a hot water bottle on your feet. Best wishes x x

Thank you for messaging @supastar1501. It's much appretiated!! I really dont know what to do. There's no definate answer anywhere, it's all conflicting, the last thing I want is a second miscarriage!! So I'm avoiding everything even now before I'm pregnant in case I do get pregnant quickly.... Think I may warm the bed with it and get some extra blankets for this winter. Lol. Thank you again for replying x x x
