well my dr referred me to have some blood tests to make sure all the correct hormones are there to ovulate, the test has to be done on days 1 to 4. So i hotfoot it down to the local hosp where there is an open blood test clinic as I am on day 4.

I get there this morning at 8.30, and they tell me that they only do GP blood test referrals on a Thursday!! I pointed out that as there was noone else waiting, and a clinic full of nurses to do the tests, couldn't they just give me a test this one time as i was on my last day this month for the test? NO.

So i guess i'll be waiting another month then!!!! so annoyed, feel like i'm never going to get my BFP!!

Oh Lucy how frustrating. How can you ensure your cycles can fall on a Thursday just to suit them. Surely they understand how us female bodies work!

WTF???!! So what happens if day 1 is on a Sat or Sun? Do they just expect you to wait until it just HAPPENS to coincide with THEIR schedule?? What the hell is wrong with them. Bloody jobsworths! xx

Thats ridiculous. You can only get the tests done on days 1-4 of your cycle yet there are 7 days in the week!!!! Typical NHS. Lets hope days 1-4 fall on a thursday for you next cycle or better still you get a BFP before it & save all the hassle

    Good Luck
