Trying to conceive

.... this morning.
Saw a lady doc, not my usual one. Did what Purple Star suggested and said we'd been trying since April 2013 and she's referred me for tests without hesitation.
I have to have a couple of blood tests for various different things - one between days 2 and 5 of my cycle and then another one on day 21, Also need to test for STD's so have booked in for that too.
Part of me feels sad that it's come to this (and I know how pathetic that sounds when compared to what others have been through) but another part feels quite positive that at least we're doing something about it.
In the meantime, we'll of course keep giving it our best shot!!

Glad that she has referred you for tests :) Fingers crossed for your blood tests :).
I think it's only natural to feel sad about it! But glad you are also feeling positive in that you are taking a proactive approach :)!
Fingers tightly crossed for you :)

Good to hear she referred you without hesitation - hope your tests come back ok. I agree with CC, it's normal to feel sad that it's got to this but there's a plan now in place and at least you will be doing something about it.
Keep us updated on your progress x

haha pook, talking about DTD isn't as TMI as it gets on here - it can be a *lot* worse! And yes, you're absolutely right to continue DTD'ing. Do let us know when you're going in for your tests on the weekly thread so we can send you some vibes x
