    bit of a funny question...

when you all talk about getting sore (.)(.)s - during the obligatory SSing of the 2ww - do you mean your whole boob is hurting or just your nipples?

i'm potentially 8dpo (i think!!) and have the most horribly sensitive nipples - to the point where the shower felt painful this morning and wrapping myself in a towel after was even worse - but my boobs themselves are fine - dont feel swollen or bloated at all

i have never ever had this - even before being on the pill or when i came off the pill for a while 2 yrs ago - and don't know if it's a sign of impending AF or what :\?

    really bizarre

Mine are sore all over (and were just before BFP) but I think Mrs Chaplic experienced something very similar - I remember her saying it was painful taking a shower! x

MrsRaf, for me its more round the sides. They also feel all lumpy and inflated, like the tissues inside are all swelling. That is the best way to explain it.

Hey Mrs Raf, my nips are usually very sore straight after ov... though it has changed from month to month, i also now have symptoms that i didn;t get before going on the pill.... so may be your body is adjusting to the lack of pill hormones!!

Hello MrsRaf, I had exactly the same thing as you first month off the pill. It lasted a week and then I got my AF aboon CD29 (with spotting for 2-3 days beforehand).
I hope it's a BFP sign for you - that would be so exciting! Although, if it is AF and it means she's not far away, it'd be good that your cycles are returning to 'normal' straight away.

    Fingers crossed it's not AF!

HI Mrs Raf, I usually get really tender nipples around time of ovulation and when af due. V weird as no pain anywhere else! I think everyone is different and our nipples are clearly v sensitive to hormones! I didn't have it after ovulation last month so here's hoping it's a nice little baby causing havoc!x x x

    Mrs Raf,

When I was pregnant with my son it was all about the nips! My nipples were so sensitive- I used to get this thing which started in early pregnancy and went quite far in...if I used to get cold my nips used to absolutely kill me, so much so that I used to have to sit next to the radiator to warm them up!! haha!

With my daughter and when I got sore boobs all over and sensitive nips.

    xxxxxx

    thanks ladies

but why oh why to AF symptoms have to be the same as PG symptoms!

i'm not getting my hopes up for a BFP this month so trying not to symptom spot

Tipi - you are totally right - and i hope if it isn't a BFP that if means AF is on her way soonish

have a strong urge to go and buy ov sticks but figure i'll wait until AF arrives - then again it's sods law that if i spend money on ov sticks now then i'll get a BFP - so maybe that's the perfect reason to go and buy them hehe

I just bought bought a cbfm as thought more cost effective that ov tests, couldn't believe how expensive they were! Definately taking advantage of people desparate to have babies x x

couldn't agreee more Mafia Princess.... they are so expensive!
I always get tender boobs when af is due,my nipples get tender to the touch and when i walk downstairs (even if wearing a bra!!!) they hurt like mad, sometims i hold on to them to stop them bouncing about..... they're not even big boobies!!! lol
Always annoys DH when i get tender boobs.... for the obvious reason haha!!
MrsRaf.... It's very unfair that AF and PG signs are so similar,i'm hoping to get my BFP this month but i've bought a CBFM and hopefully, sods law, i'll not need to use it!!!!!
Fingers crossed for you x x
