...quite frankly, since the mc in March, i think my body is fecked!!!

I had a 36 day cycle last month (counting the day of the erpc as cd1) and was pretty sure i ov 14 days before af came (ewcm etc) but my temps never went up. This month up til now sweet FA has happened yet and no signs of ov (no ewcm, thought it had gone more watery but really can't tell as i'm not used to checking it so much!!). Then this am my temp has spiked perhaps showing i could have ov but now i'm having a MAJOR stress that i've stopped 'producing' fertile cm!!

Am i being a bit ahead of myself and expecting my cycles to go back to normal? After my first mc last year my cycle went straight back to normal (hence why i got pg again in Feb). I know it can take a while but i'm so impatient and want to really plan when exactly i'll be ttc in Sept/Oct.

I'm also feeling crap as it would be the first baby's due date today and despite managing to remain positive all week about the future etc (and you girls have really kept my spirits up) - i'm feeling a bit crushed this evening.

Sorry girls, you don't have to reply - just wanted to offload a little!

Oh chicken - no wonder you're feeling down :\( I'm so sorry and I wish I could give you a hug, your post sounds so sad.

I don't have any experience of what you've been through so I can't answer your question about whether your cycles ought to have gone straight back to normal after the second mc, nor am I a doctor, but it sounds very normal that you haven't just clicked straight back into sync. Your body's been through a lot and your hormone levels are no doubt still normalising.

I CAN completely empathise with now knowing where you are in your cycle and wanting to be ready to ttc, though - SO frustrating.

If it helps even a little bit, I've never in my life had ewcm and yet I can confirm I'm fertile. Despite all the hype about it, not everyone's fertility can be detected in the same way and even one woman can be different from cycle to cycle.

I wish I could say something that sounds a bit more sincere and less patronising

Ah Fairy, sorry that you're feeling low tonight, you are bound to be. The only advice i can give is to look to the future (i know easier said than done), maybe have a chat with your OH- i'm sure this will help by talking things through and do something that you enjoy/keep busy. As for cycles i'm sure they will sort themselves out in time for ttc, your body has been through a lot so i guess it just needs time to get into a regular pattern. Anyway i hope you feel a bit better soon, maybe a little chocolate/wine is needed?! x x

Hi Hun, I didn't want to read your post and not reply,

I haven't got any real advice, as I have never experienced anything that you have gone through, but just wanted to say, we are here to listen you! Big hugs to you xxx

Didn't want to read and run.

Big hugs! I lost a baby at 10.5 weeks Oct 2007, he/she would have just turned one around now. I don't think the pain goes away but it does become a little easier to live with.

If you need a shoulder, I'm here x

Stay positive, I lost two babies in 07, I miscarried what was thought to be one baby in the July, not realising I was carring twins, in October the second baby was classed as ectopic, I had an Ovary and a Falopian tube removed, it was sad at the time and at times still is, and I can understand how frustrated and upset you feel. Every cloud does have a silver lining and in November 2008, Sidney Woodward Foster was born a very healthy and happy little boy. xxx

Oh god girls, you're all amazing - thankyou!! I've filled up reading your replies (the sparkling wine prob doesn't help!)

Mrs Allen - i was at the same gestation, 10 and a half weeks.

I'd actually had 2 scans before my antenatal scan as my friend scanned me on the shush, one at 6 weeks with a hb and one and 10 weeks and 2 days with a hb...OH and i went to the antenatal at what should've been 13 weeks and when we were told the baby had stopped growing at 10 weeks and 5 days i was devastated. What broke my heart more was that OH really didn't understand what had happened - he truly believed it was a mistake (he hadn't been at the 'secret' scans!) and that everything would be ok. I remember crying for what seemed like hours in the dark in the uss room until a midwife came to 'collect' us...oh god, i'll shut up now cuz i'm making myself worse! So sorry girls!

But yes, time has been a great healer - even with the 2nd mc in March and until this week, i was really feeling like i was facing it all head on with a brilliant future to come! I suppose i'm allowed a little wobble here and there.

SidneyFoster - i'm so pleased for you and your lo! Every cloud....

Fairy- please dont put too much pressure on yourself- no easier said than done!!! before I joined here was all "yeah it'll happen soon enough- we;ve done it before etc etc- now I'm freaking about luteal phase defect and I'm takin 3 supplements a day and have bought Ov prediction kits- not even TTC yet (though I think this makes me feel more proactive lol) I think the devil is in the detail- its good to be perceptive but silly to freak!!

for example its not meant to be possible to maintain pg with a luteal phase less than 10 days- yet within a few days of posting a question on it I've spoke with 4 ladies who have managed it with Luteal phase of 8/9 days!!

sorry for rambling !!! CD28 no sign yet of AF not trying last month AF on CD30 x (b4 cd 26-33 18 months off pill!)

hun do you think maybe you are putting too much pressure on yourself and the stress is making your body behave badly?

i wish i had some advice but my cycles have been completely artificial for 10 yrs thanks to the pill - all i can say is give it time - but i know that's no real help
your body will straighten itself out eventually and we'll all be celebrating when you get your BFP!

Morning girls - i feel much better today - thanks for all you messages

My temp was still raised this am so i potentially have ov (which is a relief) but i really need to chill out and focus on the nice bits of ttc - i know my body will sort itself out and i need to be rational - it's just damn frustrating!!

    Thanks again girls!!
