Hi BiancaTTC, im sorry for your loss and that it has taken so long to try and get pregnant again. I don't have experience of this as ive just had a miscarriage but I can imagine how difficult it must be and how you will feel. Try and not beat yourself up I think sometimes the stress of trying to conceive can prevent it from happening, Its good you know its nothing physical according to your GP and you appear to be doing everything that you can. I know its not easy but try and relax, maybe take a break together as I think sometimes the stress of TTC can end up prevent it happening. I really hope it happens for you soon, don't lose hope. x

Hi Bianca, didn't want to read & run. It took me 18 months to conceive this pregnancy, & I had two mcs inbetween. I like you thought it was never going to happen, but low & behold after my first set of blood tests with my gp I relaxed a little & got my BFP that cycle. I am currently approaching the 15wk mark & so far so good.
You mentioned that you have had blood tests via your GP, have they offered (or you asked) to be referred to a fertility specialist for further testing. Also, I see that your partner has kids from his previous relationship, but has he had any tests done to make sure there are no problems his end?
I totally understand your pain. I was a complete wreck whilst TTC cuz I just wanted it so badly. A lot of people I have spoken to on here have gone down the route of further testing, relaxed a bit more & got pregnant fairly quickly.
Wishing you the best for the future x x

Hi BiancaTTC, that's really hard waiting all that time to conceive and then the miscarriage and then nothing so far. Of course it is going to play on your mind as in total that's 5 years of wanting and wishing for a baby, it takes time to grieve for that also and TTC is really stressful. I used to drive myself crazy with the temperature take, ovulation sticks, putting my legs in the air after for twenty minutes, wasn't the most romantic and then it happened and we lost our bean, But its stressful. Its good you've got a trip booked so you can spend time as a couple and enjoy being together without the stress of all of that. I agree with supastar1501 im surprised they haven't sent you for more indepth tests, or have you had that. And I would have expected IVF or something like that too. Might be worth harassing your GP. I hope you enjoy your trip away and can take it as a break from TTC as it does put a strain. I hope it happens for you soon ive got my fingers crossed. x

Hope you are well. I too was not entitled to IVF because I have a daughter already, but told my GP if it didn't happen in the next few months she would be referring me. They may try & put you off with the blood tests are fine reply, but stick to your guns & tell them you want referring!
My GP tried to tell me there was no point me having any tests, because I wouldn't be entitled to any IVF she thought they would be a waste of time. Luckily I got my BFP before I was referred, but I think it may help take some on the pressure off.
My Step sister TTC for 2 years & after having further tests including having her tubes flushed, she was able to get pregnant naturally!
Oh, also what pre-natal vits are you taking? I started on on Sanotogen Mum to be, & after 5/6 months of no joy moved on to Pregnacare conception & was pregnant 2 weeks later. I am not saying they will defo get you pregnant, just that it may be worth changing vits to see if you have any joy
Good luck & please let me know how you get on! x x
