Trying to conceive

Hi all I just wanted some advise. I started using ovulation tests this month. See photo. My question is do you think I have ovulated? I think the strongest lines are CD11 @4.30pm, CD 11 @9pm (the clear blue test) and CD 12 @8.30am. I tested again today and the line seems to being fading so I'm thinking my peak was CD 11 and CD12. What so you all think? Should I keep testing the next few days?!

For me it seems that you did on CD/11..good luck!

Thanks babyhood I thought that too because of the clearblue test. I'm just concerned as the cheaper ones wasn't as clear (thick line) maybe I should stick to the clearblue tests even though they are more expensive xx

Try and not stress too much just aim for every 2-3 days more maybe around the right time. I was gonna use the tests but didn't in the end life too hectic I ovulated very early around day 8/9 and it appears again on day 13 glad we just engaged in the fun regularly and made our two little ones Plus there was several bottles of wine enjoyed hehehehe Good luck x

I think you ovulate on cd 11 or was about to ovulate. I haven't used ov tests before tho so I'm not really sure if you get a positive before or during ovulation....good luck Emmsey9

yeah we are really relaxed about the whole process I was just unsure of my norm ovulation cycle as my cycle can vary from 25-30 days. This is my first month trying ovulation sticks and I am unsure how dark the other line needs to be. We are def enjoying the trying! We are newly weds and if we make a baby out of all the fun it's an added bonus lol.
This is our 3rd month of TTC baby no1 (when I think about it it's actually month 2 as our wedding date was prob post ovulation)
thanks deblush i thought ought that too

I'd say there all negative... Do you have short cycles? That seems quite early to ovulate. I'd say keep testing to bd on the safe side, line needs to be darker than the control line x

Id say there all negative too you must have a short cycle if your ovulating that soon hun xxx

I used ovulation tests and it was really clear when they were positive. Try and stick to the same type of test and the same time every day...
i would agree that none look positive. I ovulate on day 16 of my cycle so used to get the positive LH test on day 15....

Hi all I have iregular cycles. Varying from 25-30 days. Last month was 25 days. I will keep testing but today CD 14 there was no line at all. Do you all think I haven't ovulated then? Xx

It doesnt look like it hun but you could of easily missed it if you peaked in middle of the night but its best not to test in morning unless the test act says to as results can be unreliable xx

keep testing! Late morning and early evening, you might have a short lutrel phase! You could still be ovulating between cd13-16 or later. Are you tracking using any other method? Ovulation sticks may not be the way for you- try the clear blue ones that have the smiley face so your not having to look at lines, I used them as a experiment to see if they were better One month and I'm now 22 week pregnant so I recommend them highly
takes the guess work out, plus you will get a better idea of which cd you should be testing around x

hi I used clear blue digital and got my smiley face on cd 11 every month I have a 28 day cycle and now I'm 4 weeks 3 days pg I would say try a digi it worked for me x

Hiya Emmsey, I had cycles that ranged from 24 to 30 days and that caused to stuggle for a few month to get pregnant and cause me to have a chemical pregnancy but after my CP it seemed my body realised what was wrong and rectified it's self and I'm now 11 weeks pregnant don't give up just keep trying. I tracked ovulation with my cervical fluid (sorry TMI) My CM is slimy and clear and stretchy when I ovulate and I feel very wet and afterwards it turns dry and tacky. I ovulate between day 14 and 17 with a 24 day cycle. Good luck

Hi Emmsey I use the cheapy opks, first few months of trying the test line was a lot darker and stronger, then for a few months the lines were lighter like the ones in your pic. I got confused so decided to try the CB digi's and for 3 cycles I never got a static smiley. I don't want to worry you that's not the point of my post, and there have been some happy outcomes from ladies using the CB digi ( congratulations ladies but they are also useful in highlighting any problems. In my case because it said on the box if you don't see a static smiley for 3 consecutive cycles consult your GP. Well that's what I did and she sent me and DH for tests straight away, before the 12 month mark although we hit that next month should get results in next week or so. I know they're more expensive but they are worth it. Hope I've been helpful x

Sorry ladies for some reason I didn't get an email to say your replies were here! I will keep testing and if no BFP this month I will try the smiley face ones next month. Emmsey x
