Hi sweety - sorry it's taking you so long If only we were all told just how difficult ttc actually is rather than convincing us all tht all it takes is one accidnet nad we have a baby!!
I would do a bit of research about ovulation, there are several ways to work out when you are ovulating the key is making sure that the sperm is there to meet the egg when it comes out!! I am just observing my cervical mucus this time round (it goes stretchy like egg whites during ovulation) but last time I bought ovulation tests that told me when I was ovulating and we did the deed then!!
We also used sasmar conceive plus which is a lubricant designed to make it favourable for the sperm - some people on here have also used preseed which i believe is similar.
I also took sanatogen mother to be vitamins last time.
im sure the other ladies will have plenty of good advice too.

I hope that your stay here is a short one (in the nicest possible way). We're in month 11 but I'm a lot older than yourself. We've tried the ov kits but this month I'm relying more on the appearance of my cervical mucus and we're using concieve plus lube too.
Stress can mess you up as I well know, so chilling out is good. Certainly easier said than done when you've got your heart set on having a baby!
All that said, good luck and baby dust to you!

Thankyou ladies..its lovely to finally have some advice from people who know where I am coming from. I suppose i just wanted to see how things would go but it has become an obsession for me now i guess i am just scared that something is wrong.
Snugglenush-Would you say sasmar is worth the buy because we prefer to use some form of lubricant but one pharmacist I saw insisted he had never heard of it and has no idea how it can possibly be any different to any water based lube and he suggested jus regular KY? What do you think? And i have been looking at pregnacare vitamins too..I am considering them.
Deeders-Thankyou me too! I have become very aware of my cervical mucus over the last few months or so. I am definitely noticing the clear stringy stuff which makes me feel better! Unfortunately AF came today 2 days early after 2 days spotting! very unusual for me..I think I need to become more proactive on the situation trying some OPKs etc..Fresh month to start from!
I hope you both get your BFP's very very soon..Thankyou for your advice and I will keep you updated.

I don't know if the conceive plus worked but I got pregnant the first month of using it! Could have been a coincidence though - I got mine from boots just on the shelf near all the preg tests!
