    PM

We're due to go to Malta in 2 weeks for two weeks and, by then, either AF will have showed up or I get a BFP. If it's the former, I'm thinking of skipping this month in terms of charting, temping, opks, cervix checking etc. because I feel I won't be able to enjoy the holiday properly.

Just wondering what people's opinions are on this?

If I temp on hols, I'd have to continue to set my alarm for a ridiculous time, avoid alcohol (need to confirm ov) and pee on sticks which doesn't sound too much like a holiday to me to be honest! But, because of my strange cycles and LP being a different length on each cycle, I'm afraid to stop as we could miss a perfectly good opportunity?

Someone shake me and tell me to cop on & just enjoy the holiday!

T - I'd go away and forget about it all! If you get your BFP and I really hope you do, great but if not I'd just switch off, enjoy your holiday and get ready to start again when you come back. x

I did this as you know on our recently holiday. I'm so glad I did. It didn't leave my mind or anything but it's all part of day to day tasks that you leave behind to truly relax. Plus I think you DTD more on holidays anyway so not likely to miss it. Go away, sleep in, have a few drinks, have sex, relax and enjoy!! Unless you get your BFP and then do all of that with less of the drinking ;)

Agree with Claire and veecee go and have a great time! I didn't do any tracking on our holiday in June and it was lovely, you will probably know what cycle day you're on as it is hard not to but it will be great to leave the rest behind for a couple of weeks!

Thanks for all your advice ladies; I guess I knew in my heart that it was the best option. It wouldn't be a holiday if I was getting up at 6AM to temp or pee on a stick twice a day!

I'm a control freak though so can see myself getting all knotted up when I get back as I won't know what's happened... oh well, at least I'll have a kick ass holiday to make up for it!
