Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone remembers me from the TTC thread a few months ago. Unfortunately I've not had much time to post lately but I was wondering if I could perhaps pick your brains please?
I came off the pill in May and since then my average cycle seems to be 35 days and AF generally lasts for 3-4 days. This month, AF arrived on Friday and by yesterday it looked like it was ending, with no bleeding/spotting at all overnight or first thing this morning. Roll on to about half an hour ago and it seems that AF is back. I've never noticed this happen before but my mind is now working overtime wondering why it might be. Just to add, we only managed to DTD around CD20 this month.
I haven't got any cramps, although I had the usual aches and pains that accompany AF last week. I have, however, been suffering with horrible headaches similar to before I got my BFP with my son, hence why I'm over thinking everything!
Does it sound strange to you? Could it be implantation rather than AF? Am I just being stupid?
Well, I tested last night and, as expected, it was a BFN. I think deep down I knew I wasn't pregnant but I think I just had to rule it out. Anyway, I think I've surprised myself at how disappointed I was at seeing those words 'not pregnant'. Thank you for all the replies x

Hi WG, didn't want to read & run but it's so easy to read other things into it (google will not be your friend for this!!). I haven't experienced it before. When I convinced myself last month that I was having implantation bleeding (it was my usual spotting) I googled it a lot & it said that there wouldn't be much & it would be pink or brown in colour as it's old blood. Does that sound like what you had? The only thing I guess would be to test. Take care & keep us posted x

I know of people who have got a BFP after having what they thought was AF. Have you got any cheapie tests?

Thanks for the replies ladies. You would've thought that I'd have some tests lying around at home seeing as we're TTC wouldn't you? I could always pop out and get one but I'm sure I'm just reading too much into it all. On Friday it was light flow and pinkish but then got heavier overnight and sat. Yesterday it was v v light and brownish but today it's still fairly light but red.

I think the only way to put your mind at rest is to test. It could just be a weird AF but it could also be implantation. Get yourself out to buy a superdrug test, I've heeard good things about them.

Maybe the first few days were just light and today is normal flow??

You could be right CP, I suppose I'm just looking for anything out of the ordinary! I'm now convincing myself that I might have slight cramps/aches lol. Will see how things pan out for the rest of the day.

I would have to test, at least you will know for sure.
