Morning ladies, how are we all today?
One more day Claire! Eek!!
I did a IC HPT last night out of curiosity - I've only done the 2 I did on Sunday plus the CBD Sunday afternoon, check me out with my self control! - and it was absolutely, definitely an undeniable line... Phew! The ICs I did on Sunday were quite faint, so it was nice to see a good solid strong line.
We're going to see the Lion King tonight, which I'm looking forward to of course but a bit worried how tired I'm going to be - I was asleep again last night just after 9pm and that's not an option tonight!
23/10/2014 at 09:16
ST - Yay that is great news the line is darker! Have fun tonight have you seen the Lion King before? Is it in London you're seeing it?
Claire - I hope you're ok today, not long to wait now!
Tayto I hope you had fun with your mum yesterday.
Nothing to report from me, very tired today so can't wait to finish work tomorrow for the weekend!
Hi to all who follow!

Fab news about the IC ST - enjoy Lion King tonight, hope you aren't too tired later. Any chance of sneaking a nap in?
Hope you're doing ok Claire!
Hi lulu - I woke up this morning and thought it was Friday - it was gutting when I realised!
Nothing much from me - roll on the weekend and holiday.
Hi to all who follow. x

ST - It's always good to test occasionally as it's the only reassurance we have. So glad the lines are getting stronger! Have a lovely time tonight! Did I mention I am extremely jealous! I adore your ticker!
LuLu - you got any nice plans for the weekend?
Sally - Not long now for your break! Haven't you got a half day tomorrow too?!
Thanks for asking of me girls. I'm ok, just full of cold and almost pulled a sicky but braved it in the end, so here I am a snotty mess at work but I'd only be at home watching cash in the attic and all that stuff enough to bore you to tears so yes, work seemed the better option. I am so nervous about tomorrow girls, no point in trying to dress it up, I've been so snappy with H, he knows why and has let me rant but I can't help it. I know I'll be such a wreck tomorrow so I think the best thing I can do is come into work at least I'll be distracted to a point.
23/10/2014 at 09:47
Lulu - No I've never seen it before, always wanted to so the fact that it's on tour and so close to home made it irresistible! It's on in Sunderland. I had a real divvy moment just then thinking you must have a day off towards the end of the week if you're finishing tomorrow for the weekend, but of course it's Thursday today. I knew that really...!
Sally - Sadly not much chance of a nap, my train journey is only 10 minutes, and then we need to drive home, grab something quick to eat and straight back out again! It's awful thinking it's Friday when it isn't. Worse thinking it's Saturday!
Claire - Aw, thanks! I figured after testing yesterday I should probably accept it's happening and it stops me from having to count on my fingers a zillion times a day! I hope the cold eases off very soon, I can sympathise as I've got a runny nose kicking in although I don't feel anywhere near as rotten as you. I'm glad your H being good to you, after tomorrow you'll be able to relax!
23/10/2014 at 10:06
Yes I do Claire - can't wait. Lots to do mind, I have to take the cats to the cattery and it only occurred to me yesterday I actually need to pack. Oops. I can only imagine how nervous you must be, definitely better to be busy at work than sitting at home and worrying. Glad your H is so understanding - at least that's a weigh lifted.
Hope you don't end up with a cold as well Lulu - hopefully it's just all the lovely extra pregnancy mucus I hear you get!

Morning all, sorry I didn't get on yesterday - too busy having lots of fun with my mum! Funny that I have time to post today.... at work!
ST - Glad the line was nice and strong, hope the next few days fly by so you're not counting every minute to scan date! Have a great time at the Lion King tonight - I'm sure you won't be sleepy - if nothing else, all the excitement will keep you awake! I was tired before we went to see Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and I perked right up when we got there!
Lulu - Sorry you're feeling tired - have you a nice quiet weekend planned to catch up on sleep?
Sally - Sorry, you probably told us but I've forgotten, when & where do you go on hols?
Claire - eeekkkk, 1 day to go! Sorry that you're feeling so sick, I'm guessing you can't take anything at all? Not surprised you're nervous and snappy over tomorrow, after all you've been through, it's only natural. Wish there was something I could say/do to help you. I just hope the elation you feel tomorrow when you see your bean(s) will make up for all the highs and lows you've been through. Huge hugs to you lovely lady xxxxxxx
AFM - Had a great day with my mum, ended up telling her all our problems so I feel a bit guilty now that I've broken H's confidence (to be fair, he hasn't asked me not to tell anyone but I guess he assumes I'll be discrete, iyswim? Although I am writing about it on a public forum!) but, anyways, mum was great and really let me cry it all out. It's helped a lot thankfully. And you guys have helped greatly too... thanks again so much for all your help! I just know I'll be awful when AF next shows up and when I ovulate and I know we'll have missed the window!
Hello to all who follow and sorry for the mini essay!
23/10/2014 at 10:21
Sally - Have a lovely holiday!
Claire - It is completely understandable you've been snappy and you're nervous, I hope you hear the strongest hearbeat or heartbeats tomorrow x
ST - That is great it is travelling so you get to see it, I'm sure once the show starts you won't feel as tired.
Tatyo - Glad you had a lovely day with your mum and was able to speak to her about it, sometimes it does help to speak to someone other than you h. I hope af doesn't show but if she does you know we are here for you like you are always for us. When are you due?
Another quiet weekend for me, will go and see my parents on Saturday and we have freinds round for lunch on Sunday. I believe we get an extra hour in bed on Sunday :-)
23/10/2014 at 11:06
I go on Saturday tayto - we're off to the Norfolk coast for a week. We go every year with my side of the family as a catch up. Glad you got it all out to your mum, and its helped you feel a bit better. I still have my fingers crossed AF stays away for you this time. x
Thanks lulu - sounds like a lovely weekend, what're you making for lunch on Sunday?
23/10/2014 at 11:18
ST - :-D for your BFPs and have a lovely time at the lion king tonight. I've always wanted to see it but have never got around to it.
Lulu - I hadn't realised that it was Friday tomorrow! 1 1/2 days to get through before the weekend!
Sally - Have a lovely trip.
Claire - Huge Amounts of good luck for tomorrow and I hope the cold shifts soon.
Tatyo - I'm glad you had a nice day with your mum. Sometimes you just need to let it all out and tell someone and mums are really great for that. We will all be here for you if AF arrives.
AFM - Nothing to really report. I'm WFH today and Its much easier to get online. Atemmpting at making a soup from scratch without a recipe. I'm not a natural cook so this could go very wrong.
Woohoo for the extra hour in bed this weekend.
23/10/2014 at 11:24
Ladies I've been sent home from work so I'm going to get my pjs on and rest up. I will report in tomorrow.
Tayto I'm so pleased you've told your Mum xx
23/10/2014 at 11:30
Sally - Packing is quite essential, good luck with that! The Norfolk coast is lovely isn't it?
Tayto - I'm glad you had a nice day with your mum, and I'm sure your H will understand. Sometimes a girl just needs to talk to her mum! I'm glad she was there for you. My mum's first words when I told her were "is it you or is it him?" which wasn't quite the reaction I'd hoped for!
Lulu - I'd totally forgotten about the extra hour, that's made my day! As has the realisation it's payday tomorrow!
Peggs - What have you put in the soup? You can't go too wrong with soup really, I'm sure it will turn out great!
Claire - Blimey you must be unwell. Rest up and I hope you feel better for your big day tomorrow! x
23/10/2014 at 11:56
Sally - I'm not sure yet H will be cooking I'll just be washing up!
Peggs - Let us know how the soup turns out lol!
Claire - I hope you feel better, look forward to hearing from you tomorrow!
ST - Glad that news has made your day lol!
I forgot to add, I've got my 21 day bloods tomorrow at the private clinic. It will be my first visit to the clinic so hopefully it will be ok.
23/10/2014 at 12:44
Lulu - AF is due on the 1st of November. Sending you lots of vibes for your bloods tomorrow. How do you feel about needles? Fingers crossed all goes ok xx
Sally - Your hols sound lovely - I've never been to Norfolk; hope you have a fab time & the weather behaves some bit!
Peggs - Best of luck with the soup, fwiw, even I can manage it so I have every faith in you!
Claire - sorry to hear you had to go home (although that's probably good for you really in the circumstances); there's a load of my colleagues out at the moment due to flu/colds, etc.
ST - Yep, you're right, sometimes mummies just make everything all better by just being there. She's even helping me make some stuff for the work Charity Xmas Craft Fair I'm organising, she's just so great! What did you say when your mum said that? I'd probably just break down! Just noticed your ticker too....love love it xxx
23/10/2014 at 13:28
Tayto - Same day as me lol! If your af arrives we can be miserable together ha ha! I'm not great with needles so definitely not looking forward to it, I'm going to be quite late for work as well which I hate but hopefully there won't be too much to catch up on when I get in.
ST just seen your ticker as well it's great!
23/10/2014 at 18:56
ST - Yay to your strong line! Hope that you enjoy the Lion King tonight! I went to see it in London about 15 years ago and loved it. The costumes were absolutely fantastic! I hope that you can stay awake and that your runny nose buggers off soon!
Lulu - I am looking forward to the weekend too - even better that we get an extra night's sleep when the clocks change! I hope that your appt goes ok tomorrow...
SallyLou - Have a lovely holiday! I always leave it way too late to pack but my excuse is that I don't want my clothes to get creased in the case!
Claire - Sending you a truckload of vibes for tomorrow! I will be thinking of you at 11. hope that your cold goes soon and that you get a chance to rest over the weekend.
Tayto - Glad you had a good day yesterday and that you've spoken to your Mum. I hope that it helps.... It's lovely that she's helping you with making stuff for your fair!
AFM - I think that I started feeling a bit queasy today so I'm hoping that's a good sign! I can't wait for the weekend as we have no plans and I'm overjoyed that we get an extra hour in bed when the clocks change!
