Trying to conceive

I don't think anyone has started a thread today yet. How are we all?
I don't have much to report, I'm glad it's nearly the end of the week. I feel quite anxious about the consultants appointment next week, I have this fear she's just going to say go away we don't want to help you!
Did everyone enjoy the GBBO last night, I feel like I shouldn't mention who went in case anyone plans to watch it later!

I love GBBO, this is the first year I've watched it and am completely addicted! Thought it was a good one last night, I want to eat eclairs!
DP - I know it's easy to say, but please don't worry about the consultant. Is it NHS? My first appointment was a few weeks ago and I was nervous too - but am already well in to planning the next set of investigations etc. They wouldn't have got as far as an appointment if they weren't going to do something (I think!). Fingers crossed for you.
Afm, On holiday countdown mode - 2 more sleeps! Trying hard to be efficient at work and get everything done but easily distracted by looking at the weather forecasts etc!
TTC wise, I'm cd 28, 10dpo. I've had what I thought was period pains for ages now, but witch hasn't arrived. Sure she's going to time it brilliantly to try ruin the holiday! The good news is this is a decent LP for me, quite often I have started heavy spotting or proper AF by now.

DollyP - I'm sure the consultants won't just send you away, have you got a hycosy booked? I hope it all goes as well as it can.
LolaB - Yay for 2 more sleeps! I've been the same as you at work this week but it does feel good when you start ticking things off. Good sign you are 10dpo fingers crossed for you!
Claire - is it your scan today? I hope all is ok!
Tayto - That clock looks great, I hope your h has a lovely birthday!
Hi to Lottie from last night!
AFM - Friday is getting very close now yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Nothing else to add lol!
Hi to all who follow.
18/09/2014 at 11:51
Dolly P - Don't feel like that, they are there to help you. You'll be absolutely fine.
Lola - Fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive that would be a lovely start to your hols wouldn't it!
LuLu - The clocking is ticking my lovely! Have you managed to get up to date with everything at work or are you still putting it off lol!
AFM - Scan is tomorrow, a bit nervous but excited that we'll get an official date for egg transfer, can't believe I'll have my beans on board next week! (well providing they survive the thaw) I'll be requesting so many vibes for that next week girls you'll be sick of me.
In other news, Dolly P I think Karma paid me a visit for laughing about your incident with the dog poo because last night Ray was constipated and the poo was stuck everywhere, it didn't work in my favour that he is long overdue a hair cut, so you get the picture, a shower, the help of scissors and a comb everything was fine but god it was awful, and H left it all to me!
18/09/2014 at 12:34
Dolly - I feel like that too with Docs appointments - H goes mad when I refuse to go if I'm ill! Thing is, you've been trying for the right amount of time to be referred so I can guarantee you they will not send you away. I have my fingers crossed for you x
Lola - Oh I hope AF stays away and doesn't ruin your hols!
Lulu - eekkkkk, it's almost holiday time - have you caught up with all your work?!
Claire - sending lots of vibes for tomorrow and next week for your PUPO phase! I'm really sorry but I did laugh a little at your explanation of Ray and his poo.... sorry!
Lottie - hello lovely!
AFM - Got my charity presentation evening this evening - it's where we present the charities with their cheques and have a bit of a 'do'. I'm looking forward to it now - we've put in a lot of effort fundraising so it's nice to be rewarded a bit! No news on ttc front.
18/09/2014 at 12:43
Tayto - Hope you have a really lovely time, you deserve it, what a ownderfult job you have, I can imagine it is hard work but I bet the rewards make it all worth while! H thought it was funny too, especially when I kept running out of the kitchen for air, I hoenstly held my breath everytime I went near his bum, I had to get the big bits out before I put him in the bath - ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!
18/09/2014 at 13:20
Dolly - I don't think anyone would blame you for feeling anxious, I'll be thinking about you next week for your appointment. I haven't seen GBBO yet, will watch tonight, I normally end up finding out whats happened before hand anyway, but it's still entertaining.
Lola - fingers crossed AF stays away!
Oh my gosh Claire - that sounds horrendous! Go you for cleaning him up though. I once had a similar incident with one of my cats, she'd got into the downstairs bathroom (which we were storing garden chairs in (as you do) - she knocked one down, got so scared she poo'ed everywhere and ended up covered. My poor white cat was no longer white. :-(
tayto - have fun tonight, it sounds like a great evening.
Not much to report from me today! Hi to all who follow.
18/09/2014 at 13:42
Oooh Claire, yuck! I was eating chocolate when I read that last bit! Is Ray more your dog than your H's then?!! My dad always had dogs but whenever they needed cleaning, they became my mum's dogs, hahah! My charity stuff isn't my main job iykwim, it's part of what our sports and social club do and I volunteered to do the charity rep aspect. It's enjoyable most of the time - unfortunately there's always grumbling in a corporate environment!
Sally - I'm sorry but I actually lol'ed at your white (no more) cat story!!
18/09/2014 at 13:49
Awww Sally your poor cat!
Tayto - Ray is definitely more my dog, fortunately for H, so I get all the crap jobs but I also get the best bits, like if H is watching football , I'll watch TV in the bedroom, but Ray will always come with me no matter how much H tries to bribe him with treats to stay with him lol!
18/09/2014 at 14:33
Hahaha, that is very sweet Claire! Every time we talk about Ray, I think again about getting one. You never know, H might surprise me for Christmas!
18/09/2014 at 14:43
Tayto I think it's only fair I flash you some pics of Ray it might help your case lol
First few are of him as a puppy last one was taken a few months ago
Claire - Sorry I thought it was today for some reason, I'll be sending you lots of vibes from Dubai next week! Poor Ray! When I hear stories like that it makes me realise I wouldn't be very good with a pet lol!
Tayto - Have a lovely time tonight!
Sally - ha ha your poor cat!
Yes I'm pretty much up to date, been so busy today nearly there though :-)
18/09/2014 at 14:44
Jeez how come they're so big!
18/09/2014 at 14:45
OMG Claire he is too beautiful!! I want one now I'm sure I could handle the mess for a dog a gorgeous as him!
18/09/2014 at 14:47
Ahhh thanks LuLu, I am a very proud dog Mommy I have to say.
18/09/2014 at 14:48
You should be he is like a little teddy! I want one so much now lol!
18/09/2014 at 14:52
Oh gosh Claire he's fab! He looks so snuggly.
Sophia (cat) is still referred to as "Poocat", and it happened a good 3 years ago.
18/09/2014 at 14:53
Get one LuLu ;)
18/09/2014 at 15:09
Claire - yeah I definitely have to get a dog. He is so snuggly in the first pic! By the way, ever realise how much of a poser he is?!! He's look right at the camera in all of them! Our dog Prince was like that too - it was almost as if he sensed when the camera was coming out so would strike up a pose just in case!
Sally - Awww, poor poocat.....
Lulu - well done on getting up to date!
18/09/2014 at 15:53
I would love to have a dog but we are both out all day and as we commute it is a long time we are out.
I think all this ttc business is making me more emotional than I was before, a freind just text me and upset me :-( I know she was joking but I can't seem to cheer up now boooo :-(
