Wow both gorgeous dresses and you look fab in both. So honest opionion,,,,

Personally I like the first one - The deeper sweetheart neckline really suits you and the ruching on the bodice is so flattering. think the skirt in the first one is more flattering too - is it a fishtail?

The second dress shows off your waist more, but I dont think its looks as good on you as the first one.

    My tupence worth x

did you enjoy trying them on? are you going to try on any more?

thanks nessie! i prefer the first one too! when i was in the shop i thought i prefered the second combo with fancy dress, plain bolero but now i love the first one.no not really fishtail more dropped waist i think

this is it on the model

the second one had a quite long train with lots of sparkles on but the first one was shorter with just the embellishment at the front and i think it loked good now so will look better with corset, and hopefully losing a bit of weight too! now i just have to find 700 pounds to afford it! considering my whole budget for the wedding was meant to be 1k lol!!! have to ring round and see if i can find it cheaper....ahh i sound like i have made up my mind!!!

i will prob try a few more on though!
would you wear a veil with it?

My cousin got married last year and her dress was made in China especially for her. She sent all her measurements, the style of the dress and then a month later the dress arrived, perfect!!! She got pregnant in the meantime, so couldn't wear it, but she loved the dress and at a fraction of the cost . Literally, she paid about ??250.00 for her dress, if that!!! So there are bargains to be had, if you are willing shop/surf around!

    wow - next june!
Can i say, the one thing i hated whilst planning and waiting for my wedding in sept was people saying "it'll fly by"........eeek but it's so ruddy true, I had 18mths to save/plan for our wedding.....and now with less then 3mths to go i'm on panic mode now.

Your right, they all are quite floaty - however, your prob in a good month to buy at the mo as the wedding 'season' is upon us so most brides will have brought their dresses for this summer. Lots more will be going into sample sales.
Plus, the NEC/National wedding shows tend to have LOTS of shops selling dresses cheap if you buy at the show, so wait until Oct time and pop along to them.

I love my dress - can't say too much about it as H2b could loom over shoulder one day and catch me out (i've managed to keep it secret since Aug 08!)

what designer is it? yeah i know it will fly by! but it also means my LO will soon be eighteen months and a toddler not my little baby!so sad about that. tbh my OH proposed on xmas day but we werent planning on setting a date or anything but with a combo of rick wanting some way of putting me off ttc and me considering changing my name by deedpoll to have the same as them it seems the logical thing to do!

where are you getting married? everything sorted now? xxx
