Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi everyone I had an ectopic in October last year and a mc in April. Myself and hubby decided to take a break from it all but whilst on holiday last week we decided to start trying again. I don't want to become obsessed about it and worry about everything any advice from people in similar situation?

Hi hopeful6. I had a mmc in March, which resulted in needing an evacuation procedure so I know how you feel.
We started 'trying' straight away but I havent been temping or using OPK's or anything. We're just trying to be relaxed about it and have lots of sex!
If you want to talk I'm lurking around here but trying not to get caught up in where I am in my cycle etc.
I'm really sorry for your loss and wish you a very short TTC journey followed by a boring pregnancy! xx

Firstly I want to say I am so sorry for your loss. Sadly there are a few of us that have been and are in your situation so ask as many questions as you want and need and we will be here to help you.
I had a MC in July 2012 and we have had a rough time with things, trying to sort things out physically and mentally, and its only recently we have started to become relaxed about It all and surprisingly its made us feel a bit more positive about things.
I don’t really know what type of advise that you want, so please ask more questions if needed about absolutely anything. But one piece of advise I would give, to you and anybody in the same situation is try and set yourself little things to look forward to. We have done this and you have no idea how much it has helped us get through difficult times. Our next ‘thing’ to look forward to is a trip to Australia to see family in March is we don’t get a BFP by October, its crazy how much thinking of that trips has gotten me through when AF has arrived the past couple of months.
Like I have said before, please keep asking questions, don’t feel alone. We have a MTTC thread which has people on in the same situation and different situations, but they have all been an amazing support to me, and I know you will get the same from it.

My biggest worry is if it happens again really was looking for some nice stories of people that have gotten pregnant after a mc

Hi Hopeful, there are plenty of those people around here, honestly. If you post this in the Baby Talk section I think you'll get a bigger response. Best of luck and stick around the TTC board too!

hi hopeful, I'm so sorry for your loses.
I also had a missed miscarriage in March and an ERPC (D&C) and am still trying since then. As TT said, there are lots of ladies around these parts that have gone on to have successful pregnancies after mc. Most will probably be found over on the Baby Talk board.
This place is brilliant for support and questions so just dive right in. There is always a daily TTC thread if you want to join in but I understand you are trying to stay relaxed so you might not want to get into that sort of thing at this stage.
Good luck with your journey, hope its a short one from here xx

My daughter was conceived immediately following a mc, no AF inbetween.
I'm so sorry for your losses.
