We conceived our DD 22 after 22 months of trying and a month before starting IVF. DD is now 20 months, we have never used contraception since her arrival although we were careful and I was breastfeeding up until June '11. AF arrived today so that's 11 months of trying... I desperately don't want to have this consume my every thought as last time and I am trying very much to remain relaxed and thank my lucky stars I already have my one little miracle but like you I would love a sibling for her!
In answer to your question, if it were me I would try as soon as you feel happy to, if it doesn't take long then that's fanstastic; if it takes a while you were in no rush anyway

Hi Magpie, yes delighted to say it's finally happened again! I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. I decided to up my game a bit and used a clear blue fertility monitor, conceive plus and did the SMEP method - worked first month of doing all 3! Wishing you lots of luck for ttc next year xx

I had unexplained infertility but eventually fell pregnant after 24 months of trying and then giving up! I am currently 25 weeks with number 2, a very welcome surprise when we weren't trying at all. Your body may have the hang of it now x

If your doc says every thing looks good, then you're most likely all right. My wife had an ultrasound examination at 9 weeks along with her last pregnancy as well as saw the heartbeating, but the child died a few weeks later. Nevertheless, the doctor noticed during the 9 week ultrasound that the child was measuring smaller as well as earlier in development than it should have been.
