Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone is in/was in the same boat as me.
After being on cerazette for 6 yrs, my husband and I have decided to start ttc. I came off the pill on 22nd May, had withdrawal bleeding on the 24 and 25 and began using opk since May 31st. I still have not had a pos opk but have had all the symptoms eg. Very sore nipples, cramping, cm e.t.c since June 1st. I had very irregular cycles before I went on the pill so I'm worried it's gonna be the same now. Looks like this cycle could be a longggggg one. Excuse me for being completely clueless but will I get a pos opk before my af arrives? Or could I skip that altogether? How long was your first cycle? We have been dtd every other day So if I do ovulate at some point I hope we'll catch it.
Thanks :) :)

Try looking on this thread: How long after stopping Cerazette did your period return, Part 6
Unfortunately Cerazette seems to have caused several of us issues in getting a normal cycle back in order to work out ovulation/ best time to dtd etc.
The ladies on that thread are amazing though and will happily share their stories with you!
Personally, my first cycle was 60 days, i didnt even get a withdrawal bleed. after that i settled down pretty quickly although always had some variance from 28-30 day cycles.
i stopped the pill in Sept 2015, only started TTC properly in January this year. Conceived in Feb but unfortunately miscarried in March. We then conceived again and i am now 8 weeks pregnant.
There's a lot of ladies who have conceived within a year of coming off cerazette, but it is very mixed in terms of when we've got our cycles back!
Hope your journey is a short one! and hope to see you over on the other thread soon :) x

Thanks for the thread suggestion I will head over now. So sorry to hear of your MC but congrats on your 8 weeks! Hope it all goes well for you.
I think I'm just a little impatient haha. Would have started ttc years ago but its only just now hubby has agreed (all his mates in work are having/had) woo peer pressure ;). Just feel like I've already been waiting forever and so unsure of my body atm. Anyway will head over now.
Thanks and congrats again with your little bundle :)
