Trying to conceive

hi everyone! I'm new to all this so any information helps! I just stopped taking my bc pills after about 9/10 years with no breaks. Me and my DH have decided to start ttc and we're really excited. I was just curious how long it took for you to conceive after coming off the pill. Also did you use ovulation tests? I know that everyone is different and some people can take months to regulate but it's nice to see everyone's experiences. I'm 26 years old. Not sure if that makes any difference but figured I would add my age in. Any responses/advice would be helpful????

I got pregnant first month off pill sadly ended in missed miscarriage but my cycles have been very regular since and iv stopped usaing opks this month but id hold of using them for a few months my doctor said its best to just have sex 2-3 times a week through cycle as this should cover your chances as you dont want love life turning boring and just for sake of ttc it should stay fun but its best to go doctors before ttc as they will recommend what prenatal vitamins to take and take bloods to check your fully healthy and check if you need any vaccinations good luck hun xx

So sorry to hear about your mc???? it's so good to hear that it happened so quickly for both of you though! It's so hard not to read all these stories online and get freaked out by them. I think the best thing is to try to just relax and not turn it into a chore and still enjoy it. Just so hard not to go on the Internet and research all day long! Well I'm only on cd day 5 so it's very early but I'm hoping I regulate quickly like you ladies. Thanks so much for the replies xx will keep you posted!
