Ok so I went my whole life convinced id never want kids then it seems to have completely changed now after becoming happily married living the dream...so strange... but because i don't want to jinx it we have decided to not tell anyone were tic until were successful however me being a woman i need to talk to someone about things I'm worrying about etc ... whilst trying to stay positive and not worry lol
So me and hubby have decided to TTC however i was on Femodene from the age of 14 years old and now after 16years having been on it i have took my last pill on 18th april had my usual bleed for 5 days ... obviously nothing else yet but not sure what to expect 2bh ... have seen other posts about acne/weight gain/pains etc...
Also 7 of the years i was on the pill i was advised by doctors to not have my usual breaks so to take the pills back to back only having a bleed twice a year! Due to stomach issues i was having ...
Now hoping all will be fine while ttc and hope to get bfp soon but have faith it will happen when its meant to....
OK soooo to all the pill users here how long were you guys on it, which pill and length it took or is taking you to conceive ...
Thanks for any info/help/advice etc

Hi babybluewolf, I was on a few pills since the age of 20 im now 32. My last one which I was on for years was logynon. I came off it January 2013 but I pricked myself with a needle at work so I couldn't ttc until I had tests and got the all clear in August 2013. So I had that 8 month break. I subsequently fell pregnant after 7 months of trying, I found out in April 2014 that I was pregnant, unfortunately I have subsequently had a miscarriage last week. Although the 7 months felt like a long time given how long I had been on the pill I guess it was quite quick. My cycles were very regular as soon as I came off but they got slightly longer between November and January 2014 before going back to normal. I think everyone is different, I did find I got more spotty after but I can cope with that. Sometimes they say you are more fertile as soon as you come off the pill, my friend got pregnant right away so you never know. Good luck with it and I hope you get your BFP soon.
