Hi RoxyC. I was on Cilest for about 5 years prior to ttc my dd. I've always had regular 28 day cycles and never had pcos but in my circumstance, I got pregnant before I'd even had a first proper AF. However, I did have an early miscarriage.
I have been told by many doctors that there is no need to wait for a first proper period and most women are actually more fertile straight after coming off of the pill than waiting.
I went on to have another 2 pregnancies in the following 2 cycles but again they weren't to be. But it goes to show that I was ovulating and very fertile, they just weren't meant to be. I went on to get pregnant a couple of months later and I now have a beautiful 13 month old dd.
It is easy for me to say but if I were you, I would have as much sex as you can (and enjoy it) from now on until you figure out what your cycles are doing and with any luck you may catch early. Once you have a better idea on what your cycles are doing, still have as much sex as you can because it is fun!

hey, i came off of cilest in Dec 2012 having been on it for just over ten years, no period since and being referred to hospital for a scan in case of pcos, a little scared as now worrying whether i can actually conceive, jumping to conclusions before i know the facts (I know I shouldnt) but would like some advice from others who may have been through it.

Hi everyone, I am new to BabyExpert and joined due to my irregular periods and TTC.
I came off Cilest in November 2012. I have had irregular periods for 8 months now. My cycles have been 42 days, 64 days, 37 days, 30 days, 32 days, and now I am on CD42 and no period with 4 negative pregnancy tests.
Because my last 2 periods were shorter, I presumed my cycle was starting to regulate itself, but now I am on CD42, I'm so disappointed because it feels lile my cycles will never regulate and that I won't be able to conceive.
Has anyone else had irregular cycles for this long? Also, has anyone had negative tests 1 week after expected period? I just want to know what is going on!

I am new to this site.
So, I took my last pill today, been on it for 10 years. My period is due on Thursday 7th Nov/Friday 8th Nov.
Does anyone recommend that I take an ovulation test after I've finished my period to see when I am ovulating or shall I wait till I get my first normal period after the one due this week?
Your comments will be much appreciated.
HEROBERTS, how did your appointment go? MillaKristina, how are your cycles going?
