hi guys Im new on here I have already wrote a post but I don't know it its bin posted or not so thought I'd try again. I'm really sorry if I sound dumb. Basically I stopped taking the pill 2 weeks ago dur to us TTC baby number 2 (so excited) I havent had a period for over 2 years now due to the pill I was taking if Any time I missed a pill I would have a bleed the next day or day after with period pains and back ache. I have no idea when I'm ovulating because of me not having periods so I have no idea of my cycle. although we have bin trying i totally get that it's way to early and it's very unlikely to happen so fast but my point is I have bin feeling tired, more hungrer, head aches although they have stopped today, and period pains oh not forgetting feeling so so bloated. Would you say this is normal after coming off the pill? Also how soon could I be ovulating after coming off the pill? Xx

Hi. I had lots of symptoms like this after coming off the pill - took a couple of months for my cycle to get back on track. Seems to vary for different people but can take a while. If you've taken a test and its negative then it's just a case of waiting for your body to sort itself out. You can try to observe signs like fertile cm or use opks to see when you're ovulating. Good luck!

I have done 2 ovulation test 4days apart from each other and this is where the confusion is, I have had the same result both times. so it either 1 line negative or 2 bold lines positive I got 2 lines one being faint and second bold both test said the same I have no idea of what that ment xx

Sorry Leo I don't have a clue re opk results as never used them but lots of the other ladies on the forum seem to use them and can hopefully advise.

Those opks were negative... You will very often get 2 lines on a opk but for it to be a positive the test line has to be as dark, or darker than the control line. You need to take them every day, at the same time, in the afternoon (between 2-6 is best) & don't drink anything or pee for at least 2 hours before testing.

You're welcome leo! Yes those are definitely both negative. A lot of people on here buy cheap opk's off of amazon where you can get 20 for a few pounds so its a lot cheaper.
Once you know how long your cycles are (when your body settles down after coming off birth control) then you can more accurately predict when you are likely to ovulate (this is roughly 14 days before the start of your next period). Your fertile window will then be the 5 days prior to, day of & day after ovulation.
