Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

I'm pretty new to this TTC thing, but I've researched it a lot because I'm really excited. I took my last active pill on 3/31 and the 4 sugar pills from 4/1 to 4/4. I had withdrawal bleeding from 4/2 to 4/4, and I haven't had a proper period yet. My husband and I have BD'd almost every day (we missed 3 days total) since I got off the pill, and we're really hoping that I get pregnant this cycle!
So far, all my OPKs and HPTs have come back negative, but we just started actively trying on 4/6, so it's only been a little over a week. Part of me really wants to get pregnant this cycle (firstly because I'm impatient & want a baby now, lol, and also because my natural periods are bad enough to make me go on BCP in the first place) but part of me will be okay if I don't.
Any advice/opinions/similar stories?

I'm sort of similar to you except I have been ttc for almost 10 months now.
It took me about 4 months to get my periods back and I they haven't really been regular since.
I've been to the doctors to have testes for Polysitic ovaries which came back negative but now they are trying to determine if I even ovulate. Opk tests say I do but I don't think I am.
I was originally put on the pill because I too suffer from really bad periods -I'm anemic. The longer I've been off the pill, the worse they get.
The only advice I can offer is to try and not let this control your life because it's over taken mine!

Cestdanielle it is amazing that you are on this journey and I remember how it was the first month I came off the pill so excited . Depending on your body sometimes it can take a few cycles for your body to be get back to normal .. ideally 3 months ..For now just enjoy the journey
