I am new to this forum following my missed miscarriage in July. My AF has returned and currently on CD13... Not using OV sticks as I didn't last time, I have a 28 day cycle and am lucky in that my AF showed up exactly 28 days after MC started. So am dtd trying to catch ovulation over the long bank hol weekend!
Has been an emotional rollercoaster but feeling positive about trying again
Hoping there are a few of you here to join me? x x

Fingers crossed for you. I had a mc in april this year and another in july. Looks like my af is about to start again so we will be trying again. Were determined not to give up as we want this so much but it is such an emotional rollercoaster. Keep having good and bad days. The 2nd mc definitely was a lot harder than the first time but I feel more positive when I think of trying again.
Have you got any children already?

Sorry to hear about your mc's it is so awful isn't it and I can't imagine having to go through it twice really feel for you.
No we don't have any other children. Do you? I came off the pill in March and we caught on my second cycle so hoping to catch quickly again (fingers crossed). I think the hardest part will be the anxiety that comes with being pregnant again!
Did your GP/Midwife advise you to wait a certain amount of time? Mine weren't very clear but the information I have read seems to say you only really need to wait one cycle and that the 3 month guideline they give is mainly for emotional recovery too... Caused me a lot of stress decided whether to wait or not but emotionally I know I wont feel happy until I am pregnant again.

That's good that you are recovering so well / quickly physically - I think its worse when it drags on. I know I will have about 2 weeks of further bleeding even after erpc due to my health issues. Its just so draining.
Regarding the food poisoning - it may have been I guess, but in all likelihood probably totally nothing to do with it and just an awful coincidence of timing. I would still push for some testing if thats what you want (I don't know how old you are) and don't be fobbed off by them. Ther is newer thinking that rmc testing should start after 2. They could do some basic bloods without much cost as a start ot check things like your thyroid etc.
In my book, one loss is too many and I am appalled that so many of us ladies are out there going through this heart break. Make sure you and hubby take time to grieve and look out for eachother....and give DS a big hug.
Take care of you
