I'm 24 and came off the pill 2 weeks ago after being in it for 8 years, I was on microgynon then was swapped to rigevidon. We are now excitingly TTC, although I'm anxious to after hearing people say it's took then a year or more to get their periods back.
We're not telling anyone that were trying, incase it does take a long time. Would love love to be able to have others to talk to along this journey.
Are you TTC, or have you concieve after being on the pill, please come and join me and she your stories, and we can support each other on this rollercoaster

Hi credfern. I came off the pill in February, and my cycle settled into a fairly regular 27-28 days straight away. Everyone is different, so it may be that yours doesn't take long either!
We got married at the end of May, so have had just one month of properly TTCing so far. I'm on CD2 now, so we'll be trying again soon.
Good luck with your journey!

Thanks for the kiwi rose, good luck with TTC hopefully you get your bfp soon.
I don't know why but I just feel like I'm going to be someone that takes ages for everything to go back to normal

Thanks Credfern for starting this post. From reading other posts similar to this I believe it's pretty random on how quick your body begins to ovulate again and is different from woman to woman.
I came of Marvelon in March after being on the pill for 9years. Have had to AFs since then but currently on CD52 with no sign of AF. Have taken tests but got a bfn. ???? don't think I've ever wanted an AF so much just so I can get into the rhythm of things.
This week I have had spotting and cramping, was wondering if this is my AF but it's just weak as my body is adjusting itself. Has anybody else had any similar symptoms?
As were fairly new to this, my OH and I are tryin not to put too much pressure on ourselves and just enjoying BDing for what it is.....especially if it can take up to a year!
sending baby dust to you all!

Nice to be able to speak to a few people in the same situation, it's 3 weeks since I came of the pill, had a nearly positive opk last night and this morning but it's faded again now so not sure. I'm desperately hoping it doesn't take my body as long as some of said to get back to usual. I've spent so long on the pill I can't remember what af was like, but hoping he comes soon.
How are you all getting on

how are you getting along? It currently on CD59 and still no sign.....bah! Been pretty weepy this week for no apparent reason and very tired.....but who knows. Especially with all this hot weather. We're moving soon so once we get settled in I think Im going to go to the doctors to get some answers so I can stop worrying.
has anyone tried natural products to help them conceive, like Angus castus?
