af appears to have arrived.. Had cramps for a few days and spotting yesterday and seem to be having a very light period.. I am use to heavy ones so just a bit unsure if it was even the start of one haha! All my symptoms must of been in mu head! That damn crazy train! oh well we can finally know where I am in my cycle yay! So Cd1 for me!
hope you are all okay x

Sorry to hear AF has arrived but I Guess it means you know now, fingers X for next cycle for you!
AFM I'm on cd11 so not much to report but have been trying to DTD every other day so will wait and see x

Hey MrsL - I was slightly disapointed and not sure why I got my hopes up really because I wasn't suffering half as bad as I did with Jack, but yes fingers crossed for all of us!
Good luck! Hope this is your month! xx

Hi All, I've been absent for a while as I've been travelling a lot. I've also been struggling with this stuff a bit. Didn't ovulate last month and spotted for 9 days before AF which has me pretty scared. It's cd20 and no ovulation yet this cycle. Probably should get myself to the doctor soon although I'm not at the year point yet so don't know if they'd do anything.
Very sorry to hear that CC but hopefully this is your cycle!
MrsL have fun with all the DTD :)
08/01/2014 at 15:09
Howfar off the year mark are you? Could you fib a little haha!
Sorry to hear your finding it hard :( sending a big hug to you!
08/01/2014 at 16:02
CC: sorry to hear that it's cd1. Symptom spotting is so hard
MrsL: Enjoy the fun part!
Veecee: Welcome back. I had 6 days of spotting last cycle that really threw me. Were you tracking your cycles before you started to ttc? I'm 35 so supposedly I can go & see my gp after 6 months of trying (although the main dr at my surgery tried to tell me it's a year). If you've got enough data for 1 year you might be able to get advice now x
AFM: I'm on CD16 but no positive opk which is really surprising me as usually I get a positive on CD14 & get cramps on CD15 when I ovulate (I don't temp). twice I've ov on CD17 but even this seems unlikely now. It's so frustrating as before I started ttc no 2 I was recording my cycles & they were usually nice & simple. Either 29 or 30 days long with 2 or 3 days spotting & almost always ov on CD15. Now my body is just all over the place. Oh well. Not much I can do about but wait & continue to dtd every other day. Take care all x

Sorry I haven't been around much, work's been manic and I've been busy in the evening.
CC - sorry it wasn't what you hoped but hopefully now all your cycles will get back on track.
Mrs L - Enjoy DTD
Veecee - welcome back. Can you try and see the doc anyway and see what they say?
Blackkat - sorry your cycles have started playing silly b*ggers, mine had done that a bit too!
AFM I am CD29 and 9DPO. Boobs are still a bit sore but no more than before AF. I've had backache and cramping for the last few days but that is probably just in my head.

Thanks ladies I am feeling okay about it and its nice to know where I am.. hoping it happens for us again as quickly as it did with Jack
Yes thats my doggie he's called Eric.. he's totally awesome haha
Bk I am sorry your body is not playing ball.. its funny how anormal cycles goes out the window wgen you start ttc! Ihave my fingers crossed tgst your ovulate soon!
Gavi sorry tohearyour riding the crazy train... symptom spotting is the worse thing ever, hoping that its all due to a BFP for you
Jj sorry to hearyour body is also misbehaving itself I will be thinking about you please update us if you can.
I have an appointment tomorrow about my ankle and I know they will mention my weightloss and I know its going to send me into crying... I was loosing weight when I found out I was pregbant continued too stay the same weight with Jack but since I have been really naughty and I just know It will upset me too talk about it... hubby might have to answer that question! Will take tissues wiith me lol

JJ - very best of luck today. I can only imagine how nerve wrecking that is. Have you anything you would like to see happening in terms of a plan? Best of luck anyway.
CC - Between Jack and Christmas I think it's perfectly understandable. During a tough time like that it would be very difficult to focus on weight loss. I hope they are nice about it anyway.
Gavi - hope you get your answer soon and that's it's a good one.
Blackkat - fingers crossed for a positive opk today
AFM - well after all that I had cramps last night and a slight rise this morning. Think ov has happened but not entirely sure when and FF hasn't given me cross hairs yet. I've been rising for 4 days but very slowly. I'm only just about .2 over my coverline. We could have DTD a bit more but fingers crossed. Next thing now is hoping for no/less spotting. Started taking B6 this month so will be interested to see if that helps.
09/01/2014 at 10:02
sorry - also meant to add, I had the coil removed in July last year so there's no fibbing that can be done. But I if I'm spotting again this month I'll go to the doctor. I figure that's a menstrual problem they would look at irrespective of TTC.
09/01/2014 at 10:21
CC - sorry about af arriving but at least you know where you stand now. And like Veecee says, I hope they understand with everything going on that weight loss hasn't been your top priority.
Mrs L - fingers crossed and enjoy dtd!
Veecee - There's no harm trying to speak to the dr before the year, surely especially if you do end up spotting again this month. Just think it only takes that once DTD to make something happen, so you never know. Stay positive :)
BK - any sign of you ovulating today.
Gavi - fingers crossed. how long are your cycles normally?
JJ - sorry to hear your body is misbehaving. Hope you leave the appt with a plan of action.
AFM - I'm CD10, we've dtd most days and apparently I could be in for a promise over the weekend when I'd be due to ovulate.
09/01/2014 at 11:31
Sapphire, cycles are usually 31 days but I was sick just before Christmas so I think that delayed OV a bit.
09/01/2014 at 12:10
I haven't done very well with posting, despite saying I would try to stop just lurking, sorry. Just finding it very difficult, this whole ttc thing. Anyway!
CC - I hope the doctor was understanding
Mrs L - good luck!
Veecee - I am considering going to my GP before the year too as I get lots of spotting. Will see how this month is (number 8) then decide
BK - hope you ov soon.
Gavi - fingers crossed!
JJ - Lots of luck at the appointment. Hope they give you lots of answers/plans
Sapphire - Lucky you on a promise!!
Afm, CD25 and waiting for spotting/af to arrive (normally have 27 day cycles). No signs of ov'ing again this month and we definitely didn't dtd enough anyway as we were at parents for Christmas and walls are thin! Oh well, on to cycle 9.
09/01/2014 at 14:47
Veecee: Fingers crossed you've ovulated & done enough. I have to admit that when I went to see my dr (for a days bleed a 3rd of the way through my cycle) I took with me all my cycle data & she pretty much dismissed spotting as 1 of those things but maybe with a 9 day spot you might get a better response.
Sapphire: Sounds like you've been very busy recently & have an even busier weekend coming up!
LolaB: You never know with dtding as you only need to do it once for it to happen but I know what you mean about wanting to get 1 cycle out of the way to do all you can then in the next. Fingers crossed for you though
AFM: Still no sign of ov. I'm not sure if 1 of the reasons is that the leaflet suggests not having any liquid for 4 hours before you test & as I'm trying to lose weight I can't leave it that long to drink else I want to eat so maybe my wee is too dilute. I'm now CD17 & my cycles are usually around 29-30 days long (31 last cycle) so if I don't get a positive today (to show that I've ov in the next 24-36 hours) I'm not sure they'll be enough time for an egg to fertilise itself. I'm also wondering if it might have anything to do with taking more vit B. I'd read it was supposed to help lengthen your cycle & decrease spotting but I was assuming it would lengthen the luteal phase (after ov) not before. I doubt I've missed getting a positive opk as I'm such a poas addict (I did 3 yesterday) & I usually get at least 2 days of positives. I'm just concerned that maybe I should stop taking evening primrose oil in case I did miss ov (even though I've had no cramps to signify it) as taking epo after ov can cause a miscarriage.
Sorry for the long waffle, I just hate being confused. May have to start temping next month which I really didn't want to do.
09/01/2014 at 14:57
BK - maybe I'm weird but I find temping way easier than opks. It's the same time every day - so no poas 3 times in one day :) You do that and you are done. You quickly get used to falling back to sleep at the weekends and I learned very easily what affected it. So I know that if I've been drinking it really spikes my temp the next morning. I feel that I've learned lots about myself through it and it's not really any bother. I tried opks but found those very frustrating as I was never getting a positive.
B6 is supposed to lengthen luetal phase, not before.
09/01/2014 at 15:14
Veecee, I think it's me that's weird as I think most of you on here temp. & yes I was hoping the b6 would do that do. Maybe my body is just strange. I'm also taking agnus castus as I'd read that it can also lengthen your luteal phase but maybe I shouldn't be taking them together. Think I might make an appointment to see my dr to discuss this, but the not the 1 I saw last month who dismissed my spotting
09/01/2014 at 17:43
CC- im really sorry af arrived, at least you know where you are I suppose. I know after I lost my baby I had some really strange symptoms too. I remember throwing up from cooking smells, seems to have calmed down a bit now tho. Hug!
Mrs L - fingers crossed!
Veecee -fingers crossed and hope the dr sees you and then you dont need it :)
Bk sorry its so confusing for you, hope it becomes clearer for you.
Gavi- good luck!
JJ- hope your appointment went ok!
Saphire- enjoy the fun bit.
Lolab - sorry you are finding it difficult, it really is hard, hug!
Afm- im cd21 and 10/11dpo I have really bad cramps and really really bad pmt. I also checked back and everything this cycle is exactly the same as last time so a bit gutted. Ive started temping so the next cycle will be the first full one, im finding it all quite interesting, my friend lent me a copy of taking charge of your fertility today so gonna have a good read. Im also feeling really crappy because its 5 years ago today that I had my ectopic pregnancy. :(
09/01/2014 at 18:20
Bk - I have never done OPKS but from post's on here are they postive are they not etc just seems so much more hard work compared to temping. The charts look confusing but they really aren't at all.. I am hoping you can find an answer too your short luteal phase and spotting.
AJ - Sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy :(.. Good luck with temping, I am a fellow temper I love it!.. Glad your finding it interesting I did too and think I did the course on FF within a few days lol!. Hopefully temping will help you.
JJ - Glad that it went well.. look forward to reading your update when you can get back on :)
AFM - My appointment was okay, Was a diferent DR and he didn't mention my weight! Yay was dreading that bit, he gave me a steroid injection into my ankle joint so now pain free for awhile yay (or reduced) it hasn't got any worse since I saw them in Aug so that's good news!
Regarding AF - I am actually not sure that it is AF at all... I have had 2 days of very very light spotting... basically when I wipe only. and its basically only once or twice a day nothing like a period.. so not really sure if it's just spotting before AF arrives or if it's just a really light pathetic AF lol
09/01/2014 at 18:31
Oh no CC, still a bit in limbo then! Good news about your ankle tho!
09/01/2014 at 18:45
AJ - I am always in limbo.. haha it's normal for me hehe!..
Hope your okay x
