Holey - This is amazing! So pleased to hear this!
AFM - 3 sleeps to scan date! I can't quite believe we've got to this point, it's definitely not been plain sailing not by a long shot, I've had spotting most days, I've felt like absolute crap, especially on an evening, but somehow I've kept it together. I'm still terrified that Friday is only round the corner now but hopefully I can come back with some good news.
Hi to all who follow :) x

Morning Holey! Delighted to hear AF has finally showed - it's a great relief when you know you can start afresh! Does that mean the uti is better now - did you need any more antibiotics or have the other ones finally kicked in? Best of luck for this cycle - plus, if you need any more of those opks, just let me know - I have loads that I won't be using xx
Just to pick up from yesterday, a huge thank you to everyone for your lovely kind words - I was so much in the dumps yesterday, you lovely ladies really helped me see some perspective! And replying to the ladies I missed:
lovelygirl - thanks for sharing your story - it gives me hope! That's great news about your friend. Hope the 2ww doesn't drive you nuts x
st - fully understand the terror re the bloods - when will you get them back? I have everything crossed for your sticky beans
enjayee - thanks also for sharing your story, I hope you're doing ok and your investigations are underway xx
AFM - I'll probably still stay on here while we take a break if that's ok? I will finish this cycle but it looks like our best dtd efforts were before ov so I doubt we have a chance. We will be doing the 'NTNP' method from now on anyway and I don't want to drop out of contact with you lovely ladies Mum is coming to see us tonight and staying until Monday plus I have tomorrow off work - I'm so excited
Morning Holey, so glad AF showed up and you've found some positivity! Yay for feeling better too.
How is everyone else today?
I'm very happy to report that the nurse declared me, and I quote, "most definitely pregnant"! It's just so strange, I keep saying it over and over in my head. I really never thought the day would come. I've been booked in for an early scan on 10th Nov, which also happens to be my godson's first birthday which is kind of nice. I've booked the day off work as annual leave, so nobody will get suspicious when I disappear half way through the day. Thank you all so much for your support over the last few weeks especially, I think I would have possibly gone round the bend without you all. If it's alright with you, I'll hang around here for a bit longer? xx

Missed you Claire! Thanks again for your help yesterday too x 3 sleeps, eekkk!! Sending you lots and lots of vibes for your sticky beans - we'll be here to keep you sane until Friday xx
21/10/2014 at 09:39
How long was I typing then?! Cross posted with Claire and Tayto!
Claire - Wishing you the very best of luck for Friday, sorry you're not feeling so great but I am definitely feeling the same way!
Tayto - Ohhh so jealous of your day off work tomorrow, enjoy! Do you have any plans with your mum?
21/10/2014 at 09:40
Missed you too ST - I'm so so delighted for you! That's a good idea re the day off - the last thing you need is some nosy colleagues! You can hang around here as long as you like lovely lady xx
21/10/2014 at 09:41
ST - we'll do some shopping I think and we'll make some crafty bits for the charity craft fair I'm organising at work in December. She's very crafty so I'm hoping she'll crochet and knit me some bits as I'm crap at those skills!
21/10/2014 at 09:42
Tayto - I am so glad we helped a little and glad you will be sticking around, we are always here when you need us and this place wouldn't be the same without you.
ST - I am beyond happy for you and you will be in a bubble for the next few days of disbelief and happiness it's crazy all the emotions you'll feel. I think it's a good thing to book the day off too, when you see that heartbeat you're not going to want to go back to work are you. I wish you a very uneventful few weeks ahead and hope the 10th comes round very quickly! I can't bare to leave this place as stupid as it sounds, I feel odd over on the 1st tri threads and I'll miss everyone so much but I know I will have to migrate soon :( x
21/10/2014 at 10:04
Tayto - sounds like you'll have a lovely day :) crochet and knitting were never my thing either, my mum and grandma taught me when I was little but I wouldn't have a clue where to start now.
Claire - I'm already feeling heightened emotions and can flip from absolute joy to the brink of tears in the blink of an eye. Isn't it fun?! At least when you do venture over to the tri threads I'll only be a short while behind. How are you feeling about your scan? Do you have any kind of inkling how many beans you expect to see? The few people who've seen my CBD result are all betting I've got two growing in there!
21/10/2014 at 10:14
ST - I do find comfort knowing you'll be right behind me :) You know what, I really don't know, some days I think 2 based on how rubbish I feel and the amount of spotting I've had but then other days I think it's just the one. People keep telling me "we know it's twins" they're all sweet but just because I had 2 embryos put back doesn't mean they both took but I was testing positive from 5dp so who knows. I can't quite imagine it though, or daren't believe it's possible x
21/10/2014 at 10:26
ST - so so happy for you. This is amazing news. Lots of sticky bean vibes heading your way.
Claire - you know we're all behind you for Friday and will be sending lots of love and luck your way. We'll miss you both lots when you feel ready to move over, but of course you are more than welcome to hang around. In fairness though I'm so happy you 2 get to head to the tri threads, you so deserve it. Anyway fingers crossed we'll all get to join you soon enough. x
Holey - feels weird typing this but yay for AF! Glad it's finally arrived and you can get on with it.
Tayto - I hope you feel a bit better today now you've come to a decision? You never know you could invoke law of sod and your efforts before ov could have done it.
AFM - got my peak on OPK today, earlier than expected mind. We DTD on Monday, and will do so today and the next few days so hopefully have it covered.
21/10/2014 at 10:32
Sally - That made me really teary, thank you so much. Yes hopefully you've got it all covered lovely. Lots of luck this is the one :) x
21/10/2014 at 10:34
Holey - Glad af finally arrived so you can get started again
ST - Fantastic news on the bloods so happy for you! xx
Claire - I am wishing the week away for you! What time is your scan? Have you booked the day off work as well?
Tayto - I hope you and your H start to feel a bit better soon. Please do stick around here it wouldn't be the same without you and it's down to you that this place got going again :-)
Sally - Glad you got your peak!
AFM - Nothing to report! No storm here yet, has anyone else seen it?!
Hi to all who follow x
21/10/2014 at 10:37
Claire - thanks for your kind words x I guess from seeing Ducky's story on here (and other friends IRL), I would guess at two based on how early your +hpt was, your level of sickness, spotting etc but I guess we won't know for sure until Friday?! Hope the next few days fly by xx
ST - we'll be here to help you get through the next few weeks with lots of vibes xx
Sally - I definitely feel better today as we have made a decision! But, yes, there is a little bit of me that's hoping we did enough this cycle anyway! Good luck & have fun dtd'ing over the next few days!
21/10/2014 at 10:41
Claire - well you'll know for sure in just 3 days time! So exciting. I've just been scrolling through the DTC thread and I'm so happy that so many of us who started the year on there have been able to move on.
Sally - definitely sounds like you have covered yourselves! Fingers crossed for some more BFPs in the near future :)
Lulu - How are the Paris plans coming along? We've had extremely high winds for the last few days, I've been wondering if it's anything to do with the hurricane leftovers but keep forgetting to check! It was particularly horrendous walking across a high bridge over the Tyne this morning - I'm just glad the barriers are so high or I might have been blown over!
Tayto - thank you. You ladies and your loveliness are making me feel a bit misty eyed too! I'm glad you're feeling better after making a decision, and hopefully it will invoke the law of sod - but if not, I think it will do wonders for the two of you to focus on each other for a while x
21/10/2014 at 10:42
LuLu -Scan is at 11am. I haven't which I am beginning to regret but it's been so busy! I might speak to my boss today and ask the question, work have been really good so I don't think it would be a problem. No storm here in the Midlands, a bit of wind but it's meant to worsen this afternoon! Stay safe everyone!
Tayto - Yes I agree but I just daren't believe it. I really hope you did enough this month too x
21/10/2014 at 10:44
Sorry I've not been on in ages, I'm travelling lots at the moment and just don't have time.
I just wanted to say congratulations to ST, I'm absolutely delighted for you xxx
And to CL, good luck for your scan, I'm so pleased it seems to be going well xxx
And hugs to everyone that needs them xx

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday. Got back from holiday and was wiped.
Holey - Glad AF has made an appearance and you can now look forward to OV.
CL - How exciting. Its really nice to see your ticker moving along. I will keep everything crossed for you for Friday! x
Tatyo - I read yesterdays thread and I'm glad your feeling much better. You aren't alone. I'm only in month 1 and I can already see myself getting tense and struggling. I'm glad your hanging around :-)
ST - Such Fabulous news. It looks like a few of you will be graduating to the first tri threads shortly... unless you want to stay around ;-)
SL - Thank you for the restuarant recommendations. We went to Ristorante 'o Parrucchiano la Favorita and had a lovely time. Also hope that you catch that egg!
AFM - Back from honeymoon with a thud. First day back at work today and there have been a string of redundancies and people put at risk since I've been off. i should know my fate in the next month.
In TTC news I'm either on CD 28 or 29. I lost track last month with all of the wedding stress. No sign of AF other than cramping from Sat/Sun. I took a test (or 4 yesterday) and they were all BFN so am just waiting for AF to arrive.
21/10/2014 at 11:13
ST - Paris plans are coming on well thanks to your advice last week :-) we have booked the Eurostar now as well :-)
Claire - That is nice as you haven't got to wait all day, glad your work have been good about it all so far.
Hi DollyP! How are you? Have you been travelling anywhere nice?
Peggs - Sorry your back at work that is the worst! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your honeymoon!
