Thought I would get on here before work really kicked off!
Hope everyone is well today.
AFM - CD11 another negative opk yesterday, I normally ov between cd12 and 14 so there is still hope for ov this cycle but I have to admit I am worried after having a cycle were it didn't seem to happen. I'm wondering if I only ov every other cycle is that possible? I'm thinking of giving in and trying temping, will start another thread with all my questions for that! After feeling really good for the last week I woke up feeling rubbish today, gave myself a good talking to on the way to work and feeling a bit better now lol!
Hi to all who follow!
15/04/2014 at 10:59
Lulu - you sound like me hope you ov soon.
Afm - I am wondering if perhaps im not going to ov this cycle as its CD25 & no pos opk. I will continue to hope that i just had a short window & it happened on Sun. Wil test again today but wont be until after 8 when i finish work. Im in a better mood about things today, trying to relax a bit more about things!

Good morning :)
Lulu - I love temping and I think it really does put your mind at ease... even if you only do it for a few month's just too see that you are actually ovulating :)! I hope you are ovulating every month :) Glad your feeling better it's so dificult but we have all been there/are there so just rant on here when you need too!
Cooper - I really hope that you are going to ovulate and it will happen on sunday.. Could you have missed it? But glad your feeling better and relaxing about things.
Afm CD12 nothing much to report just waiting for ovulation which is predicted for friday but might be different who knows! (ESP with my cycles lol!) Hope you all have a lovely day just going to have some lunch and go out in the garden again for a bit :)
15/04/2014 at 12:32
Lulu - Like CC, I love temping too - I've seen your other post and will reply to that in a few mins. Hope you do ov soon though x
Cooper - same to you - hope ov is on its way and just a blip this month
CC - we must be ov buddies - I'm apparently going to ovulate on Friday too! :-)
AFM - CD 11 - no pos opk yet, just keeping an eye. In other news, had an app with the physio yesterday and we discussed my future plans - both her and the surgeon know of my keenness to start TTC'ing asap post op however yesterday was the first time she actually mentioned 4 months post op before she's want me to start TTC'ing! Surgeon had always said 2 months -ish but she's saying 4.... I'm gutted and really annoyed - she's never mentioned this before. Don't think I'll do what she says anyway.. unless I'm in a lot of pain and physically can't DTD in June, I'm gonna get started anyway! <>
End of rant... sorry ladies!
15/04/2014 at 12:37
Tayto - That's rubbish - I would TTC anyway's... You may be lucky and fall first month (I hope for this) but as you see on here sometimes it takes a few month's if you do and she says anything just say it was an accident ;) haha! or keep your nose out of it either way haha!
15/04/2014 at 12:44
CC - hehehe, you're more devious than me! I like the 'it was an accident' one. Her reasoning with me was that, if I was pregnant, we'd be restricted in what we do to rehabilitate the knee. I'm just terribly impatient really.
15/04/2014 at 13:00
I am no expert but surely it cant be too restrictive?
I am just wondering what on earth she is goung to do to you haha..I am thinking about my ankle physio and there wasnt anything there that I couldnt do when pregnant.. I know its slightly different just seems mental to me!
15/04/2014 at 13:09
Hahaha, that was a really funny way to put it - 'what is she going to do to you'.... heheheh! It's the main ligament in the knee and is quite important so, the worry is that I'll need to do exercises that I don't currently do and, if I'm pregnant, it could mean that I can't do them so my recovery is slower and I could be at the point of weight gain by the time I'm able to do them and further into the pregnancy thus causing more complications.
To be honest, when I first hurt it, it was probably about 3/4 weeks before I had any interest in DTD!

I'm venturing back in, took a few months off the forums as ttc was beginning to drive me mad and was starting to obsess over things a bit. Feeling a bit better as we are now actively investigating why it hasn't happened yet... Some new faces - hi!
Lulu - Probably not much help but I am fairly convinced I only OV every other month, could be worth seeing if your GP will test you?
Cooper - Glad you are feeling more relaxed
CC - Sorry to see you are still here (if you know what I mean!) but hope you ov soon
Tayto - 4 months seems like a long time to wait - I think I agree with you and CC - see how you feel and start ttc when you're ready
Afm, I'm now cd8 of cycle 12 of ttc. Went with OH to the doctor this morning, who was really lovely. She's arranged for me to have full blood works done and for OH's SA. Then we've to go back in to see her for the results so we can discuss next steps... Not exactly what I wanted to happen but pleased she's been so helpful.
I'm still persevering with the cbfm, it seems I'm ov'ing every other month - odd but could explain why it's taking a while!
15/04/2014 at 13:24
Ah okay well...I would still be TTC haha!
LolaB Nice too see you back (Altho would of prefered to see you back for a bfp!! Glad your Dr was lovely and fingers crossed everything comes back perfect! My fingers are crossed tightly for you!
15/04/2014 at 13:28
Cooper - Sorry you haven't got a positive opk yet either, I hope you have ov'd or do very soon!
CC - Hope you ov soon too!
Tayto - That is so annoying! If you're up to dtd after the op and you did get lucky I agree with CC just say it was an accident lol!
Lola B - Hi sorry to see you are still here and had to go to the doctors, glad she was lovely though. I guess it is a good thing to have the tests done to put your mind at rest. I am thinking about going to my gp but don't want her to think I'm crazy, I was there in Jan about the spotting before af and she sent me for some tests for PCOS which have all come back clear. Not sure if she would be willing to send me for bloods and H for SA yet as we are not quite at the 1 year mark.
15/04/2014 at 13:33
Lulu - fingers crossed you just havent ov'd yet.
Cooper - I have no idea how OPK's work but is it possible you missed your OV?
CC - nearly at the good bit yay!
Tayto - thats rubbish abuot your op. I am very impatient too. I think I would see how I felt after the op and if I was up to DTD I would and I would also do as CC suggested and say it was an accident but that's just me.
LolaB - hello, I guess welcome back. It's good that the Dr is going to do something for you. I know it would be great to just fall but this way if there is an issue they can get it sorted for you.
AFM - no news at all. CD?? but my back is starting to feel better so maybe by the weekedn my H will get lucky and we can start seeing what happens.
15/04/2014 at 14:43
Lulu - We aren't at the year mark either yet - it's been 10 months, but 12 cycles, if you see what I mean? She was happy to refer us with that amount of time gone - so might be worth asking?
CC - thanks lovely
Rosco - glad your back is feeling better and you are getting to the fun bit!
15/04/2014 at 14:54
I think i only seem to get on here on a Tuesday!
Lulu - Fingers crossed for ov
Cooper - Hopefully you have just missed it
CC + Tayto - looks like there's a few of us waiting for ov, hope it comes soon for you both. Remember Tayto that you can only take certain painkillers while pregnant, so be careful x
Lola - I hope the blood tests, etc invoke the law of sod!
Rosco - Glad your back is feeling better
AFM - I'm cd13 and no positive opk yet. Just on the fun week!
15/04/2014 at 15:18

LolaB - welcome back - I think I'm one of the new faces. Sorry to hear of your long TTC journey; good to hear your Doc was nice. Hope you won't actually need the tests :-)
Rosco - glad your back is better & enjoy DTD!
Hazel - thanks for reminding me about the painkillers - I will be on a lot after the op - I don't plan on being brave and gritting my teeth! Fingers crossed you ov soon & enjoy the good bit coming up.
15/04/2014 at 15:24
Lola B - Yes know what you mean, we are on cycle 10 so think I might wait until cycle 12 if I can lol, sounds like your doctor has been good I hope mine is the same if / when we go.
Rosco - Glad you are feeling better.
Hazel - Another one waiting for a postive lol hope you get yours soon.
There does seem to be a few of us all around the same time, hopefully we can keep each other sane during the 2ww!
15/04/2014 at 15:33
We're all going to be a nightmare in about a week/week-and-a-half's time aren't we?!
Tayto - It's just something to bear in mind and might be what they're thinking of
15/04/2014 at 19:48
Busy at work so I'm late here again today!
Lulu I really like temping, I think it gives me a feeling of a little more control in situation where I have none. Its a chore that quickly becomes a habit!
Cooper I really hope ov has happened or you get some sign of it soon.
CC back round to the fun bit for you now!
Tayto I can't believe you didn't get your op you must be so cross! If I were you I'd just ttc a bit anyway!
LolaB nice to see you back but sorry its not with a bfp. I'm glad the Dr was nice, it helps if they are supportive
Rosco glad your back is better
Hazel, hi there hope you also ov soon
AFM I'm so tired I can't remember which CD it is, 7 I think! We go to the Drs tomorrow for our first test results so a bit nervous but keen to find out what the next steps are. Sorry if I missed anyone in personals!
