Will be trying very soon and will be taking Pregnacare Conception. I currently take Multibionta, Evening Primrose Oil capsules, glucosamine and cranberry tablets. Will be stopping the Multibionta and Evening Primrose Oil but will it still be safe to take Glucosamine and cranberry tablets? I am vegetarian hence the extra vitamins to my normal everyday diet!

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,
I did a quick look online and it says to avoid Glucosamine during pregnancy as there's a lack of evidence. Maybe pop and see your GP or nurse for some advice they will be able to put your mind at rest and may be able to recommend some other supplements to keep you healthy if they aren't suitable.

Good luck trying, I am new on here and been on Pregnacare about 2 weeks now.

Thanks Dee. I have a healthy diet so hopefully will not lack much. Will also speak to GP or nurse.

I have been taking pregnacare for just over 3 months and I have the ones with omega 3 for when I actually get pregnant, as its supposed to be good for brain development. It might just be coincidence, but I've been feeling pretty good health wise while I've been taking them. No illnesses or anything (touch wood).I don't know about taking the other vitamins though. Sorry. Good luck! x

I am veggie too so just used the pregnacare ones. To be honest the only thing i struggled with a little was iron and that was right at the end of pg x
