Good morning ladies,
These boards are certainly quieter since the recent bfp's. Hope they're all doing well.
I'm now on CD11 so expecting to ov sometime over the weekend (which just happens to be an incredibly busy weekend but I'm sure we can squeeze dtd in without waking up my mum who'll be staying! Hope you're all well x

Morning Blackkat xx. CD26 here so AF due Friday by my reckoning (27 day cycles) but for some reason FF puts it at Sunday. OK so if FF is right, I ovulated 2 days later than usual (CD15 instead of 13) but we'll see. Pretty sure AF will arrive though. I have sore boobs but not agonisingly sore as they were the month of my bfp, and I don't have any other symptoms. Still bungee up with a cold, but my temps have gone back up, which is encouraging for a normal cycle.
Good luck trying to dtd while your mum is asleep. I'm not sure OH would be able to do it! Poor bloke has enough problems when the cat sits watching us!

BK - hope you manage to squeeze in DTD into your busy weekend!
BF - hope your cold goes soon, and fingers crossed for AF to stay away.
AFM, CD12 and noticed a bit of pink spotting this morning. This is now the second cycle where I've had some random spotting so who knows what my body is doing! AF isn't due until just after Xmas so it seems a little early for OV. Anyway, will see what happens.
Hi to anyone who follows x
04/12/2013 at 18:02
Blackkat I've just seen your other post, I hope you manage to figure out what's going on and get chance to dtd this weekend (quietly!)
Barefoot lol to your cat watching you, I think that would put me off too!
Weather girl the spotting sounds strange, wish our bodies were more straight forward!
AFM my period was due last Sunday so I guess now it is three days late and cycle day 38, BFN on Monday morning and lots of cramps everyday as if period was coming yet still not arrived other than the faintest spot (studying loo roll... lovely!) typical that before this my cycles were regular and i'm pretty sure my cramps came after AF showed, my body clearly just wants to mess with my head :(

I know this is yesterdays thread but I was going to say it might be worth going back to a weekly thread until the numbers pick up? It's something we did when MD was first setup as there wasn't enough ladies TTC'ing to sustain a daily thread x
05/12/2013 at 13:31
I don't mind if we do a weekly thread for now. It was a bit much when it was running to 20+ pages, but there aren't that many of us here for now.
Today I am CD27, 12dpo and awaiting AF tomorrow. 99% certain it's on it's way, since boob soreness has eased, although temps still high. I'm ignoring today's temp though since I was awake most of the night coughing, and didn't have any period where I slept for 4 hrs (the most was about 2 hrs) and the temp I did take was after 9am when I usually temp between 5.30 and 7.30am depending on shifts. Better luck next month hopefully!

I agree with bf. I like the daily threads but it does seem quite quiet over here at the mo.
BF: Sorry to hear you're under the weather. These winter colds are horrible. Hope you get over yours soon & are able to sleep. Fingers crossed your af doesn't arrive tomorrow
WG: I'm actually relieved to hear that someone else has mid cycle spotting. Makes me feel more normal! Enjoy the run up to the fun bit x
Scotty: have you tested again or has af arrived? It's hard when your body is confusing
Purple Star: Hi x
AFM: So I went to the doctors & she seemed at all bothered by the bleeding (it's stopped now) & seems to think that the sex the night before had dislodged something. She then talked through my cycles with me and explained to me about ovulation & fertile days!! I just nodded my head. As if I didn't know about it! She also told me to relax & enjoy sex, again, something I already know. I also asked her about the fact that I'm 35 & I thought that you could have medical intervention after 6 months of ttc but she told me that it's a year before doctors will do any tests & another year after that before you get referred to the hospital if there's still no bfp. I have to admit I'd never thought past getting a bfp, but I guess I'm in it for the long run & will just have to wait & see what mother nature has in store for me. Take care all x

Blackkat, that's good news about the doctor, and that it's nothing of concern. I also do the nod and smile thing when docs patiently explain stuff that we already know! Getting a referral isn't easy. We are thinking about going back if nothing by Jan/Feb since it will be 6 months after the bfp I miscarried, but I'm pretty sure they won't refer me to fertility clinic because I have been able to get pregnant, and they have already said they won't refer me for full mc investigations (bloods, chromosome checks etc) until I've had 3!! I'm 39 FF's, it's SO frustrating! Very glad your bleeding has all stopped now anyway x
05/12/2013 at 16:14
Blackkat, I don't know if this is normal, but I saw 2 different doctors within my gp practice and they told me different things, one said I'd need to try for a year, and the other said 6 months. I was asking in advance of TTC as I had PCOS so wanted to know how long before I could come and whinge at them. It might be worth seeing someone different just in case you get a different answer! (Though hopefully it won't be an issue and you'll be pregnant soon.)

I all for the weekly thread too, makes sense when it's so quiet
BF- fingers crossed about the line on your test in the other thread!!
BK- it's a shame that the doctor couldn't shed any light on the bleeding but the positive is that it wasn't anything bad, fingers crossed you won't need any referrals and it will happen soon on its own :)
AFM- did two really cheap superdrug tests this afternoon and got BFN's, just need to be patient and wait for AF I guess, just really want it to come so that we can crack on with the next cycle! Period is four days late but I think it must have been because of the stupid pregnacare pills as my cycle was always 34 days before :( really annoyed with myself for taking them and really hope that not every cycle will be this long (currently CD39) though I know I shouldn't complain as know some people's are much longer xx
05/12/2013 at 19:07
I'll be back ladies when my body sorts itself out xx
06/12/2013 at 00:18
Take care Cooper, we're here when you're ready to join us x x
06/12/2013 at 08:15
BK - good news about the dr not being concerned and at least the bleeding has stopped now. Hopefully it's just one of those things!
Scotty - don't give up just yet. Before getting my BFP with F I had 3 or so BFN the week prior. AF was quite 'late' in my book even though they were irregular. Keeping everything crossed!
Cooper - take care x
AFM, I caved in and bought an OPK yesterday. Tested this morning and apparently I'm 'not fertile'. I was hoping it would show as fertile and explain this annoying mid cycle bleeding. Anyway, that seems to have gone now so does anyone know at what point during ovulation bleeding can occur? I'm just wondering whether the bleeding is a sign that my body's doing the right thing and I'll be fertile in the next few days. Apologies for the naïve question! I'm CD14 of an approx. 34 day cycle (average).

Happy Friday ladies,
BF: That's awful that you have to wait for bad things to happen before anything is done, hope you get a bfp that sticks long before that (as is my hope for everyone on here x)
SG: Thanks for the advice I guess everyone is different so if I need to I can request a different dr to look into tests. tbh I don't know what the next step would be. The dr yesterday was saying if I have regular cycles & am having my period then I must be ovulating (I know I am from the ovulation pains I get) but I didn't think that was a given. I think there are so many fields to know about that not all drs can know everything!
Scotty: Keeping my fingers 7 toes crossed for you x
WG: I'm afraid that I don't have experience of ov spotting but just doing a quick search it seems that it usually happens just before or during ov so not sure quite what's going on in your case. I would note it all down (I'm sure you are) & then maybe see a dr if you're concerned (although the googling I've done says that if the spotting is ov it's a great sign of fertility!). I don't know about you but my cycles were so simple before I started ttcing!!
AFM: Well I'm on cd13 so getting down to dtd every other day. Although I'm currently doing a christmas show so it's been so busy with rehearsals & then I've got my show tonight & 2 tomorrow. Luckily my mum is coming to babysit tonight (as my hubby has his works christmas do). Busy, busy, busy so I might not be on again until Sunday eve, have a good weekend all x
06/12/2013 at 14:55
Hi all, hope you're having a good Friday and looking forward to the weekend. My weekend is a run of 4 night shifts starting tonight, so not fun, but never mind. As I updated in the other thread, I think my faint line was a dodgy test or something since a test this morning was even fainter, so that's me still at CD28, 13dpo and awaiting AF that is due today or tomorrow.
08/12/2013 at 21:04
A faint line is still a line, take care bf
AFM: On cd15 & got a positive opk today so movie night tonight!!

Hey Sc I remember you! I think there is a few of us still around but mostly posting in the MTTC threads now everyone else is off in the tri threads after getting bfps!
I'm CD22 and yet to ovulate - 32 days til my first fertility appointment :)
09/12/2013 at 13:19
Did a test today and it was negative :( Still have hope for this month as I think I ovulated late due to illness so my AF might not be due for another four days. But last time I did a test the day before I was due, and it was really strong and a CBD said "2-3 weeks" already, so in my heart of hearts I think we're out this month.
09/12/2013 at 20:40
All been a bit hectic life and work wise, so haven't been around as much.
BK - hope movie night was entertaining!!
BF- any news?
PS - good luck with the treatment
S - keep my fingers crossed for you.
AFM - I am CD30 - am either 15 or (and more likely) 13 DPO. I caved and did a couple of ICs at the weekend (I blame the two bottles of wine I put away, oooops). Both negative. Boobs are sore (normal for before AF) and I have more CM than I would expect (sorry, TMI!) but I feel the same as I do before AF comes. Pretty sure it will make an appearance tomorrow, just in time for my Christmas party!
