Trying to conceive

Just woken up and feel loads better, still tired though. H woke me up at 11pm last night to DTD, as the SMEP says we have to...who says romance is dead?! CD15 and pretty sure ovulation has now passed, but will DTD once more today anyway as suggested. Hopefully I'll see a good temp rise tomorrow.
Its my first day in a new school today, so I won't be back until this evening. Even then, I still have half an essay to write, so I may not get back on.

Morning ladies, just a quick one from me as I've got to pop out shortly.
CD37 and AF due on Friday. I had the tiniest amount of spotting on Sunday and Monday, which I usually get before AF, but AF hasn't appeared yet. Feeling shattered as I keep waking in the night and struggling to get back to sleep. Anyhow, hope everyone is well, will try to pop back on to catch up later x

Saff: Godd luck on your new placement, whay year are you working in? Hope you get your essay finished soon. Your H sounds fab!
Mrs L: Enjoy the fun bit :-)
WG: Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well. Fingers crossed af stays away
JJ: This ff stuff is very confusing!
AFM: I'm CD19. This is my 1st cycle temping & all was looking normal in comparison with those charts that people had posted. I had a dip then a temp rise but today my temp has dropped down a bit & ff has put the crosshairs on & today's temp is below that line. Also, I assume the vertical line is supposed to be ovulation but it's put it 1 day before I got my +opk. Very confused now, well, whatever the case I'm now in the 2ww & am glad to get to bed earlier!! Take care all x

Saffron - that's one committed H you have there! Have a great first day!
MrsL - yay for H being home! Enjoy ;)
WG - fingers crossed af stays away from you. Have you thought about when you would test?
JJ - hope the 2ww doesn't drag for you
BK - fingers crossed for you and again hoping that the 2ww doesn't drag.
AFM - I'm currently up to CD37 today. I'm thinking about getting a thermometer to temp (once this cycle eventually comes to an end) so I can at least have an idea when to expect af next time and not having to keep thinking about whether to do another test or not. So any recommendations for a thermometer, please ladies?

Saff good luck at your new school, that's funny that your h woke you up!
Mrs l - sounds like a plan to cover ov
Weather girl I hope af stays away
Jj I hope the 2 ww goes quickly for you
Bk I can't answer anythig about temps but I hope the 2 ww goes quickly for you too.
Sorry about the poor punctuation, I'm on my phone!
Nothing much to report cd 35 I think, no signs of af do if its not here by the weekend I will test again, although if its just a ling cycle I think we might have missed ov as we were busy TDD for the first couple of werks then trailed off. We will just have to wait and see xx

Saff- Good luck at your new school, love that H woke you up for DTD, its nice he's keen too..
MrsL - Glsd H is home, glad you can cover ov
Wg - hope af stays away! For a bfp
Jj - it sounds confusing, hope the 2ww isnt too bad for you
Bk- it may adjust itself over the next few days dont worry too much atm
Sapphire - as long as its a 2 decimal point thermometer your be ok with any thermometer

Saffron- Hope your day at achool went well. Not sure my OH would be brave enought to wake me up once I was asleep - I'd probably shout at him!
MrsL - Have fun!
Weathergirl - Hope af stays away
JJ - Hope the 2ww flies by for you
Blackkat- Sorry can't help with temps/ff - but hope 2ww flies by for you
Sapphire - Sorry, no recs from me as I am looking to get one myself for the next cycle
Bunny - Hope your cycle works itself out soon (or not and you get that bfp!)
CC - you ok?
Afm - cd24 and nothing much to report. Feel a bit crampy and my tummy feels delicate if I poke it (was prodding to see where pain was coming from!) but that's it. I often get this the week before af, so not holding out much hope.

Yes just having a bit of a crappy day and dont want to moan on here lol.
Hope its no af on the way lolab
05/02/2014 at 16:49
You can always have a moan to us CC. You are so lovely to everyone when we moan - and you have been through so much, the least we can do is listen!
05/02/2014 at 16:53
Haha thank you, its just about my moody sister whos living with us and shes driving me mad, think I am just moody atm too lol.. honestly wont start because id never stop lol! But thank you... I will save it till the 10th haha x
05/02/2014 at 17:01
Sapphire sorry missed you earlier. I can't help with the thermometer RECs but am thinking the same as you about getting one.
Cc - hope your sis isn't annoying you too much.
Lola hope af stays away!
05/02/2014 at 17:10
This is the one I use, which is perfect for me, it remembers your last temp which is handy lol
05/02/2014 at 18:12
Saffron- I'm impressed with your H's commitment to baby making!! Hope your first day at the new place went ok :)
Mrs L- enjoy the next few days of DTD!
Weather girl- I have everything crossed for you that AF won't arrive on Friday!
JJ- FF sounds confusing but I hope the 2ww is not too painfull
Blackkat- same as for JJ really!! Enjoy the early nights! It's quite a relief to have a few nights off sometimes!
Sapphire- you asked the question I was going to ask :) thankyou! I think I will start temping soon too as hope it will give me an idea of what's going on even with crazy cycles!
Bunny- fingers crossed that AF stays away :)
CC- sorry things at home are a bit poo, how long is she living with you for?
Lola- I'm running out of fingers but everything is crossed for you too that this is it!
I hope that is everyone!
Afm- CD40 and a bfn- I don't even know why I tested as I know it's not happening and had promised myself I wouldn't waste money this cycle like the last one! But when you walk past superdrug on your lunch break.... Doh! I am going to take all your advice and start opks and temping, I think I'll have to get cheap opks online as presumably I'll need a lot but at least I can figure out if I actually ovulate which would be a start! Last cycle was 61 days so I may start opks soon in the hope that I do ov!
05/02/2014 at 18:20
Its been sine end of june, and achieved nothing, shes either packing or cleaning not sure which.. fed up of her attitude you would think shes a teen, shes not shes 43 this year!
Sorry to hear it was a bfn opks or temping would benefit you I think maybe temping would work out cheaper if you have long cycle's
05/02/2014 at 18:27
Very true :) I've just bought the thermometer and a pack of 50 cheapy opk's from amazon, £11 well spent as I feel more in control already :)
Really feel for you, I can't imagine having anyone else living in my house :( apart from H of course but he's well trained ;)

Hi ladies. I know I said I'd come back and do personals so I hope you don't kind if I don't - I'm feeling so so tired despite having a nap when F did this afternoon (he rarely naps now so thought I'd make the most of it!). Feeling a bit crampy and uncomfortable to be honest, F accidentally kicked me on my lower right side earlier and although it wasn't painful, it felt really uncomfortable. It all feels 'different' to when AF is on the way but I'm probably just reading too much into it all. I'll try to hold out until Friday to test assuming AF is still absent. I hope to be back tomorrow and be a better TTC'er! x
05/02/2014 at 19:16
Thanks JJ I'll start as soon as it arrives just so I'm in the swing of it by the next cycle :)
WG- I really hope that it isn't AF! :)
05/02/2014 at 19:20
So I've just ordered a thermometer off ebay - comes with 20 ICs all for £6. Bargain! I was expecting the thermometer to be more expensive, so ready for that to arrive and next cycle to start and see what's going on! Like you say Scotty, I'm thinking it will save me money from buying various tests to see what's happening. Hope it helps us both with what's going on.
