Saw your post on the other thread - nothing on the surprise yet?? You're very patient!
AFM - had a lovely massage but think I'm coming down with a cold! TTC, CD4, nothing happening.

Happy Valentine's day all!
CC - Your darts night sounds great - glad that you enjoyed it! Hope that you have a lovely rest of the weekend :-)
Hopeful - Glad that your cycle was longer this time. I hope that things settle down soon and fingers crossed for your blood test X
Tayto - Glad that you enjoyed the theatre but sorry that it was such a late night! I would be wrecked getting up for work after a 2am bedtime! I used to be able to do it but not any more :-( I hope that your cold buggers off soon!
Mrs T - I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I can't imagine how hard things must have been for you X Good luck for fat fighters next week and have a great night tonight!
Enjayee - I've just heard the news about what's happened in Copenhagen. I hope that you and your loved ones are safe X
AFM - thank you all for your lovely words yesterday. I am feeling a bit better today and am determined to stay positive that this will happen somehow or other. H and I had a very quick conversation about adoption yesterday. It's the first time we've talked about it and I have no idea if we'd even be eligible due to our age but it's something that we could explore. TTC wise I am on CD11 so I am glad that it is the weekend!

Thanks Chocolate Cupcake, show was amazing. Didn't get to bed until 1am and had to swap shifts today so cream crackered! What was your surprise?
Tayto a massage sounds good right now, work have a beauty salon so think I may treat myself to one soon.
*Lottie* we talked about adoption too, have a look on your local council site. Ours is having a information evening in a few weeks which I want to convince the OH to go to, thinkmit will be more informative than leaflets. But like you age may not be on our side neither will my BMI so hoping it will help cement these or hopefully I will be wrong.

Tayto - Glad you had a nice massage! Sorry to hear you are coming down with a cold though! Hope it doesn't stay to long!
Lottie - Just curious why you want to go down the adoption route?
Mrs T - I updated the other post but when I am on my PC will post it here lol! Also wondering why your looking into the adoption route? Also what gas BMI got to do with adoption?? How odd

Lottie - glad you're feeling better; best of luck with whichever decision you go with x
Mrs-T I'm a bit like CC - puzzled as to why BMI would have anything to do with it?
CC - hope you're enjoying your weekend with Mr CC x
AFM - Cold is still bad but am taking it easy so I'm sure I'll be fine to go to work tomorrow, ha!
15/02/2015 at 15:55
Tayto - He was only home yesterday! Back to work today and then back this evening! - It was lovely though :) Thanks!

CC - glad you had a nice evening!
Tayto - feel better soon, a massage sounds like just what I need right now - am hurting everywhere from pole!
Lottie - glad you're feeling a bit more positive x
Mrs-T - like Tayto and CC I'm also puzzled as to how BMI can affect adoption?
AFM - TTC wise am feeling fine but it's only 4DPIUI so won't be able to tell anything. My boobs are incredibly sore but that'll be from the hormones I took I imagine. Non-TTC wise ... to answer your question Lottie, my friends and loved ones are fine, although the second guy shot outside the synagogue turned out to be a friend of a friend - I've never met him at all and only found out he was a friend of a friend via Facebook but it makes it feel just a little bit more real. H and I feel really sad about the whole thing. I am sure the office will be an interesting place tomorrow.

Glad your friends and family are OK Enjayee, completely missed it on *Lottie*'s post but heard it on the news at work. It is all so sad that the world has to be so horrible.
For my height and weight and the ridiculous stats they have I am overweight and all prospective people have to have a physical and mental evaluation from a doctor and would be worried with that and my how unfit I am. I guess it is just to protect the children, they have already lost one set of parents so don't want to place a child with someone who is unhealthy. It may just be me thinking it over too much but it is making me more determined which is can only be a good thing.

Mrs T - thanks for the advice re checking my council's website - I had a look and downloaded an info pack. There doesn't appear to be an upper age limit so that's great to know. It also listed some commonly held beliefs about adoption that weren't true, one of them being weight being a barrier. I would guess that every council would have the same guidelines so good news all round! Good luck for the information evening if you decide to go.
CC - I've never really thought about adoption before but if having our own doesn't happen for us, then it's something that we could explore, I definitely haven't given up on TTC yet but I suppose it's good to know that there are other options IYKWIM?
Tayto - I hate it when I feel rough over a weekend or when I am on holiday. I feel cheated! I hope that you feel better soon X
Enjayee - Glad that you are feeling ok! Sorry to hear about the guy that your friend knew. It's terrifying when something like that happens so close to home. I hope that things get back to normal as soon as possible, not forgetting those who lost their lives of course. Are you enjoying Broadchurch? I was hooked on the first series but I'm not loving this one as much!
AFM - Pretty dull day today! I went for a run first thing and then we went looking for a new TV for our living room. I've also sorted out some clothes for the clothing bank and a load of stuff for a friend of mine who is doing a car boot sale. Not the most exciting way to spend the day but the house is looking better for it!

CC - oh, that's a shame - I thought he was there for the weekend; better one day than none though!
Enjayee - Sorry to hear about what happened in Copenhagen; it's just so frightening. Hope the next few days fly by - we'll have plenty of fun for you tomorrow to distract you!
Mrs-T - I understand where you're coming from with the weight thing but I'm glad to see Lottie's post about it just being a myth. Re the age thing, I think there was a lady on here who was declined for Adoption as she was too young (late twenties, I think)? So, I would have thought that being 'older' could only be a good thing....
Lottie - Re the run - are you working towards anything specific? I did plan to do a 5k (min) this year but not really started doing anything for it yet! Well done on all the productive things you've got done today!

Evening all. Hope you've all had a nice weekend.
Enjayee, sorry to hear about the friend of a friend. Very sad :(
Tayto hope you feel better soon.
AFM, We've made some biggish decisions this weekend. Basically we were thinking of changing my car but its passed its MOT and service fine so we're going to keep another year or two. Also thought about moving house so went to next county along (nearer both of our works) but for a 3 bed new build we were looking at more than twice what we paid for our two bed. In some cases almost THREE times as much! So that is now a no go, at least for a looooong time. Lastly we seem to have basically decided to just sod it and start TTC, almost by accident I think.
So am CD15, DTD TTC style for the second time yesterday. Not sure when i will ovulate though so we're just seeing how it goes and trying not to get our hopes up too much. I've got a consultant psychiatrist appointment on the 9th march so will discuss my medication then.
