Hope you have all had a lovely weekend!
I have phoned the surgery about my GTT test and they will call me back because they aren't sure if they have all the equipment etc so she want's to talk to the nurses...! No idea what equipment they need other than a surgery drink and two blood test's...! Haha oh well! At least I have made the call!

Well done on making the call - looks like you didn't need us to pester you at all! That's a bit weird about 'equipment' - keep at them just in case they 'forget'!!
AFM - No news TTC wise - just wishing the time away for my HyCoSy.

CC - glad you've phoned, hopefully they'll get back to you soon!
Hi Tayto - hope you're doing ok lovely.
AFM - CD7 (?) I think, just waiting for ov. Busy at work and weekends at the mo and feeling a bit drained! Had a lovely afternoon tea for H's birthday on Sat though, and met my newest nephew on Sunday. :-)
Will try and get back later. Xx

CC - That is annoying well done for calling them though!
Tayto - Remind me when is your HyCoSy?
Sally - Your weekend sounds lovely.
Mrs LG - I hope the doc can help.
AFM - Had a lovely weekend always sad on a Monday lol! Appointment this week feeling a bit apprehensive about it as I don't know what to expect and I don't want to get my hopes up that we are finally getting somewhere and it doesn't work out that way.

Hope you had a good weekend.
Another 3 test ticked off the list: AMH blood test, chlamydia and smear test. The later was absolutely horrendous. So uncomfortable!!
Just waiting for af to turn up and can have internal scan (not looking forward to this, but needs must!!). Then initial consultation on 22 May and ready to go hopefully with June cycle.

Sally - glad you had a lovely weekend; afternoon tea sounds fab! Lots of vibes for this cycle for you x
MrsLG - sorry to hear about the exhaust, hopefully it won't cost too much. Wow, 50 days is very long to wait - I wouldn't be surprised if you have pcos and I think docs can help with that.
Lulu - my hycosy is Wednesday week. Which day is your app? Lots of vibes - I hope they can do something for you. You've waited long enough, after all x
Hopeful - where's your personals missy?? That's how these forums work!!
11/05/2015 at 20:50
CC - Hope they don't keep you waiting too long for the glucose test
Tayto - Not long to wait now for hycosy - fingers crossed for you :)
Sallylou - Hope you get a chance for a rest soon, busy days pass by quicker but it is hard when you a knackered all the time!
MrsLG - I've sporadic (and very long) cycles so I understand your frustration, the doctors weren't interested though and just told me to come back after 2 years if I wasn't pregnant yet.
Lulu - Boo to mondays!! - I hope the appointment goes well x
Hopeful - Internal scan isn't so bad, pretty painless and just feels a bit weird but then again I don't find smears that bad either so maybe it's just me. Definately try and get involved in personals at least once a week as it's good to acknowledge each others struggles not just your own :)
AFM - Currently CD21, no idea if/when I ovulated as I'm not temping and my erratic cycles mean it could be day 20 or it could be day 60!

MrsLG - It took 14 months to conceive my daughter. I had an internal scan and blood tests and my husband had a sperm test. They didn't want us to have anything until the 2 year mark but I really lost my temper with the GP (my original GP had said to come back after 1 year) when they told me I had to wait 2 years now and agreed to do the basics. The blood tests just confirmed I didn't have regular cycles (which I already knew!) and the internal scan was to check my womb lining and ovaries.

CC - did you hear back from the docs at all?
MrsL.G - sorry about your car! 50 days?! You poor thing, hope the docs can sort you out.
Lulu - what day is your appointment? I hope it goes well.
Hi Hopeful, sorry your smear was so uncomfortable.
Hi PS - hope you are doing ok. :-)
Thanks for the vibes Tayto. x
AFM - rubbish nights sleep last night, woke up at 2:30, thought it was AM so temped only to look at the clock afterwards, proceeded to wake up every hour after that. Yawn. xx

Hopeful - Sorry to hear smear was uncomfortable, I have found internal scans to be easier than smears so hopefully you will be ok.
Tayto - Not long to wait then that is really good, is that at the private clinic? My appointment is Thursday.
PS - Do you think you will do any tracking or are you going to keep relaxed for now?
Mrs LG - I hope your doctor is helpful.
Sally - Boo to rubbish nights sleep hope you are ok today!
AFM - Spotting started last night, roll on appointment I just want to start treatment now. I've spent too long hoping it would happen and now I feel ready to admit defeat and get some help, fingers crossed I can get the ball rolling on Thursday.

Tayto - Wishing the time away with you :)!
SallyLou - Sorry you had a rubbish night sleep :(! Hope you haven't got a too busy day!
Lu Lu - Fingers crossed for your appointment this week! Sorry the spotting has started :(
Mrs LG- Eeek 50 days! Hope the Dr's can come up with something!
PS - Will you be actively doing anything like temping with your unsureness?!
Hopeful - Sorry your Smear was painful! Like others have said it is nice to acknowledge everyone else when posting.
Afm - I had a phonecall this morning and my GTT is booked in for Monday the 18th at 08:50! Eeek! It's only a 2 hour wait so that's not too bad!
Just waiting for AF to arrive and then going to book my Smear/Swabs and then OMG we are clear to TTC! Eek!

Morning ladies! Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - mad busy at work coupled with needing to leave early as we had a birthday dinner for my sister last night - she's 40 today!
PS - Have you made a decision yet about TTC'ing?
Lulu - Ours is a private clinic but they do take NHS patients which is what we are. Sorry you've started spotting already x Lots of vibes for your appointment tomorrow - hope you get a good consultant who can (and will) help!
Sally - Hope you're doing ok - you must be coming up to ov around now? Lots of vibes for this cycle x
CC - great news on the glucose test! You won't feel it now until you are back officially TTC'ing!
MrsLG - You're absolutely right - no point in waiting for 12 cycles if you only ovulate once every 50 days! Even though some docs can fob you off, it's worth standing your ground and asking what the point in waiting is. I'd push for the bloods and ultrasound as that will show hormone levels and lining which I suspect is where your problem lies. It's a week tomorrow is your appointment, yes?
AFM - Nothing from me. Had a great night out for my sister last night - looks like her partner didn't get her anything from her twin girls which p!sses me off no end! Nothing we can do though!
Hello to everyone x

Sorry for the non-personals - been another stupidly long day at work (9-hour meeting!) so my brain is frazzled. Hope everyone's ok. I promise personals tomorrow.
AFM - exhausted all the time. It could be work combined with the endo, but AF is due in a few days and I'm getting some of the other symptoms the endo throws at me in the week before, so I think it's safe to say I'm out this month. Gutted doesn't come close. Aside from anything else, I've started taking folic acid again, but when I took it before it made the endo pains twice as bad during AF, so not looking forward to this one. Had a bit of a cry this morning. I know we've only been trying 10 months, and it's not long really, but it feels like it's never going to happen.
