I forgot to do this again yesterday! I'm hoping these are still useful on this forum - I'm following the poll results however am happy to divert off course if people prefer?
This weeks topic according to our poll is:
Common Pregnancy Symptoms
So, over to you - discuss!

My first - I was having symptoms from early on but no bfp until 19dpo my symptoms were : Awful Indigestion, Sickness, Wind, frequent bowel movements (more than normal)
This pregnancy - Symtoms from 11dpo got my bfp in the evening of 11dpo too - I vommited into my mouth and felt very sick after that and then when I went to bed heartburn kicked in. So very similar.

My main early symptom was that my boobs were SO incredibly sore. Every time I rolled over in bed I'd wake up because they hurt so much, and I'd wince if anyone nudged me on the way past on the tube! Also, according to H my nipples looked different really early on. And I had some really vivid, freaky dreams!
Apart from that for the first 12 weeks I didn't really have any symptoms other than some period like cramps during the night when I was about 8-10 weeks. I wasn't sick at all during pregnancy (until I was in labour!). So please don't panic if you don't have any symptoms or don't 'feel' pregnant.

With both pregnancies I've had tummy upset symptoms from about 4-5dpo, crampy tummy, needing the loo more often and feeling a little bit sick. With J I had v sore boobs too from the first couple of weeks onwards, but with this one I was still bf J, so I think they were probably switched on already.

I had period cramps for four days but no period. That's why I tested. Then in the first 12 weeks I felt sick, but wasn't actually sick and also felt faint at times. I had terrible back ache at 10 weeks, went right down my legs which I self diagnosed as sciatica. Hurt so much I was in tears. Luckily that stopped after 10 or so days. I also have had some painful stomach cramps, usually around tea time so I assume something to do with needing food. Other than that I've been luckily I think.

My first pregnancy symptom was when we had gone out to frankie and bennys for tea. I ordered scampi and chips, which isn't something I would normally order, when it came I just couldn't bring myself to eat it, not because there was anything wrong with the way it was cooked but I just couldn't stomach it. Which prompted me to do a test the next day. I also had sore boobs and I just "felt different", I can't explain how but I knew something was different. I would say this was probably only about 7-8 dpo. But as I wasn't tracking I don't really know.

I didn't get any pregnancy symptoms as such before my bfp. In fact I only did a test because it was Christmas Day! Afterwards the main one was tiredness, I looked totally wiped out all the time and felt really drained. By 8 weeks I had HG and was really sick all the time so that overrided any other symptoms I was having. I'm basically pretty useless at contributing to this topic haha!

I got backache at 9dpo and period type pains. I was also sure I could see more veins in my boobs, but I'm still not sure if I was imagining that.
Tested at 10dpo and got a really feint bfp.

Some of these symptoms are actually making me think I should test!

I had way more 'symptoms' in the cycles where I wasn't pregnant than in my BFP cycle...you name it, I had it.
In my BFP cycle the only symptom I had was that my stomach felt really weird. I had twinges and period type pains from about 6dpo, but put it down to the fact that I had just started hitting the gym hard and had sore abs. Weird poppy twingy feelings made me test at 11dpo and I got a very strong BFP on a FRER.
I will never know whether it was early pregnancy twinges or whether it was just my abs protesting at my new regime
The other symptoms kicked in at around 5-6 weeks, long after my BFP.

The only thing that stands out was an afternoon of awful cramps at 3 days after a 5 day transfer (8dpo). I think that was implantation happening.
After that I had very few symptoms. No sore boobs, despite being on extra progesterone. I also bled a lot. I started feeling nauseous at around 7-8 weeks.
I still feel a little sicky!

Both times my first signs have been awful headaches and generally feeling pi$$ed off at everyone and everything! With my first pregnancy, my my cycles were long and irregular before conceiving so I went a while not really knowing because I just thought it was another erratic cycle. I had a week of BFNs before getting my BFP.

With my 1st I had really sensitive sore boobs, this time I didn't have any signs (only temping), it's strange how different pregnancies can be x

I had loads of discharge and very sore boobs. I also had period pains but no AF.

JJ - I didn't see your BFP, congratulations x

Just seen furmummy's post.. Hope you got a bfp!

I haven't tested CC I'm probably just poorly or stressed as we haven't been trying. I just have more hormonal symptoms than I normally have at this time of the month!
04/06/2014 at 18:28
Ah okay well I hope it is a bfp!

My first symptom was really bad nausea a couple of nights in a row, then a couple of days later (12dpo) I had sudden extreme tiredness and spotting in the evening). My boobs weren't sore but veins were prominent and they were very firm (could be the progesterone I'm taking!). I knew I was in the 2ww due to IVF treatment, and at the time put all the symptoms down to the medication I was taking so not to get my hopes up, but deep down felt very positive it had worked.

In all three pregnancies the first thing I noticed was sore boobs. REALLY sore. And I felt sick early on. Usually on the train, like a wave of nausea. Bleeding gums too and extreme tiredness, coupled with a backache meant I knew the third time before even testing.
