Trying to conceive

What does everyone make of this chart? I've been really lax with coming on here & need to make more of an effort but since the wedding we just haven't stopped!
FF doesn't think I've ovd & I'm not sure I have either.

It doesn't look like you've ovulated to me either :(

The OPK on day 14 was technically a negative but a very strong line, the strongest I've ever had. Never managed to get a positive but I know from temps I've ovd.
What I find weird is my last period was very odd - 4 days of spotting (unheard of for me), 1 day of flow then 3 more days of spotting (again unheard of for me I normally start then stop). Also, my temps only dropped after af & then not by very much - my temps are still in the post ov range of all my previous cycles.

Sorry love, but that chart doesn't show ovulation What are your cycle lengths normally?
24/10/2013 at 22:14
Can I see last months chart?
Stupid Q, but I'm assuming you've tested?
24/10/2013 at 22:16
Cycles are between 29 & 34 days.

Last month isn't the greatest temp wise because I wasn't temping due to wedding/honeymoon. I've put in the line based on ov pain

Previous one is better for temps but BD wasn't great that month (H wouldn't play ball!)
Yes tested yesterday but not with FMU
24/10/2013 at 22:21
Yeah, not a great comparison. How many cycles have you been trying, and were you on hormonal contraception?
24/10/2013 at 22:31
On Cerazette for 2 years & came off in Jan this year. This is the 6th cycle of trying & this is the first I don't think I've ovd.

Have you always charted? Can you flash a few others?
24/10/2013 at 22:40
Started charting in May

Your previous Lps look between 11-14 data, Lps are usually the same each time with iv dare maybe differing, I'd try to that temp a but more accurately.
Its canal worth noting to sustain a pregnancy the temp should be 36.4 or above. Maybe a longer cycle this month for some reason

The rest look fine, but I would say that you definitely haven't ovulated this cycle. Rogue cycles happen occasionally so try not to let it worry you too much. I agree that you could benefit from accurate temping, I see quite a few gaps along with a number of open circles.
Good luck, fx you see a shift soon!
24/10/2013 at 23:20
I don't know why it's putting in the open circles because time wise I'm accurate in taking to within 10 mins. Gaps due to either being on honeymoon or being woken by cats disturbing my sleep so I don't take because I know it'll be inaccurate.
24/10/2013 at 23:24
I have a disturbed sleep every other night roughly, but it doesn't affect my temp. Everybody is different, for me it's the time that matters. Open circles could be time, drinking the night before, or maybe you've logged illness or something else?
24/10/2013 at 23:28
I thought you needed a period of 3 hours undisturbed sleep for it to be meaningful?
24/10/2013 at 23:35
That's the guideline, but if you delve in to the Q&A on FF it says that for some people the 3hrs I disturbed sleep is vital, and for others it's the time the temp is taken that's important. Honestly, I get up to pee at 6am some mornings and then temp at 7am, and my temps are consistent and reliable. It might not work for you but it's worth a go. I think as I'm quite a heavy sleeper, I'm always a bit disorientated when I get up to pee, and I fall asleep again when my head hits the pillow.
I'm so bad that I have a temp alarm set for 7am, and an extra one set for 7:05am to wake me up, as more often than not I fall asleep with the thermometer in my mouth At the weekend I have occasionally slept through the second alarm, and woken up hours later missing my temp!

Unfortunately with that many gaps it's unlikely FF will be able to accurately predict anything even if it had happened. From the temps you've got though it doesn't look like ovulation has happened yet/isn't going to happen this cycle. This might just be a rogue long cycle your body has thrown in to confuse you! x
