Trying to conceive

This month marks 6 months of ttc with no 2. As I'm 35 I understand that I can see my gp after 6 months rather than waiting a year. I went to see the main gp at our doctors (there are 3 & a fab nurse at the practice) when I had a bleed early in 1 of my cycles & she said that I had to wait till a year & said to relax & keep trying. I know that we've successfully had a baby but that's no guarantee of a second & I want to make sure everything is as it should be. I have concerns about spotting prior to af, especially as the last few cycles I've had 5 or 6 days worth. I'm planning to make an appointment for next month (hopefully I don't need it) but I was wondering what the next step would be? Thanks

Our situation was different as it's primary infertility and yours is secondary, but I would imagine they'll do the same initial tests, which were CD21 bloods and CD3 bloods, and a SA for H. The results of those would determine what happened next. HTH x

Thanks for replying, I've heard of 21 day bloods, what do they test for initially?

Day 21 (which is somewhat mis-named, it should be 7 days after ov) is to check that you're ovulating. The blood test on CD3 checks your egg reserve.
