Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant. I have had irregular period since I started at 13. I have been off birth control pills for about 2 years. I know they say it takes a while after you have been on birth control to get pregnant. I havent had a period since september 2012. Is there a chance I could get pregnant without having my periods or what do yall suggest? I have period cramping sometimes but nothing.I am worried I am not able to have kids. any advise

Hi Sherry, I too have had irregular periods since they started when i was young. I hardly ever get periods and after the coil was removed i didnt get a period for a long time. I am having various tests done at the doctors but I have found that I ovulate on clomid. You will find the right fertility help for you, have you done a pregnancy test at all since september? You are best speaking to your doctor as Jazzy2 says and they will find the right path for you xxxxx

I have talked to my ob he told me he could give me a shot 21 days from the first day I start my period but havent had one since september. I took a pregnancy test but it was negative. Its aggervating because I work with the public and I see all these pregnant women and I wish that was me. I am praying and hoping. I actually found a pill online that I have read good reviews on that I think I will try. thanks ladies and good luck to yall too

Hi Sherry 2, do u take any vitamins etc? I remember reading about this a while ago and i'm sure b vitamins play a part. U could do a bit of research as I don't know too much about it.

I'm also v irregular, and long cycles - 40-60 days. Been to see specialists, gnaes, GP... having monitored cycles so I know when I am going to ovulate but now it's been 5 cycles (9 months) and still nothing. This last cycle my dr said he thinks I might have had a clinical preg (so not even long enough to show up on a test) but that my progesterone levels just drop suddenly which means AF comes. Taking all the vitamins, folic acid etc. Supposed to be starting clomid tomorrow for first time but so worried about side effects, and also it thins lining even more which is not good for me, and realy don't want to take the cyclogest I've been prescribed to keep it thick, because of the horrendous side effects. Has your doctor suggested clomid to you?
