    Hey,

Thank you for the reply. I have done 3 tests now. They are on teh side at home so we can keep looking at them!!!

Got sore breasts and much more tired and easily stressed than usual.

Just wondering perhaps anyone who may have a child already felt like this with there first.
Maybe its the unknown and not knowing what to expect.
Going to the docs tomorrow so that will help it sink in abit more i hope.

My sister was like that for about a week or so after she found out...then...BANG, she got severe morning sickness!! So honey...enjoy the calm whilst it lasts, lol! Have you told all your family yet or are you gonna wait?!
I feel preggers (I think?), my af was due yesterday/today and nothing! Took a cheapy test yesterday and it was negative, so not really holding out much hope. ALthough I keep remembering your story, so keeps me positive! Will test again at weekend if still no sign of af, that way the result will be more accurate!
Let us know how you get on at the Doc's!
They're probably gonna give you loads of leaflets etc..!!

I'm now 8 weeks and it still hasn't sunk in... I've had four scans due to complications, I've been in hospital and had a laporoscopy to check for an ectopic pregnancy (everything was fine), and at our last scan last week we saw a wee blob and a heartbeat. And I still can't believe it...

The only thing that is making me realise what's happening is the fact my husband is going to be the bestman for his friend next October and we will have a baby by then... That freaks me out so I block it all out and it's back to not being real again!

Just can't allow myself to believe that it's really happening...

Hi Dreamer! when i was pg before it took absoloutely ages to sink in. After my initial appointment with the gp, i kept checking the post for letters from the hospital for blood tests etc (sad i know!) i kept reading loads bout pregnancy and watching birth programmes, then when i had my first scan-which seemed to take forever to arrive it all came together and i really felt pregnant for the first time! hope the time goes quick for you and you can start enjoying your bump!!!!!

When i found out that i was pg i was in total shock but i already sort of knew cos i was so moody and hungary all the time. I was only 5wks gone and exactly a wk later i was suffering with morning sickness severly which lasted 4months. so i started feeling more pg at about 5 months when sickness subsided and i had a little bump. now were ttc our 2nd and i cant wait to be pg again its such a wonderful time(cliche i know). x x x
