Some of you may be aware of the brown EWCM i've been having on and off following my AF after my mmc, i'm CD23 today and at home not long ago when i wiped after using the toilet 'something' came out of me??? round, dark brown/reddy, quite hard... about the size of a ten pence but thicker... about 5mm and kind of stringy... could this be the bit of uterus lining that was still thick following the mc? surely this would've passed with my recent AF?... I'm awaiting a phone call from my doc but i flushed it... then remembered afterwards that they say to keep any 'product' from a mc for the medical people to see.. shoudl i have done this? Ok i'm grossed out and super paranoid now - still no OV this month!!! xxx

    Ah Rocky you poor thing.

That dosent sound right but Im sure its nothing to get alarmed about! Strange you had AF though inbetween but it could explain why OV has been hiding - Id insist on going in and getting checked out just to check there are no infections.

Let us know how you get on and Im thinking of you

    Hi hun

It does seem strange as you've already had a AF, I think your right to speak to your GP hun. I had this but it was quite soon after erpc, have you been feeling ill cause retained product after this long you would probably notice if you were developing an infection, like a temp, dizzyness or a funny smell cm (sorry tmi). Let us know how you get on with GP hun xxxx

I think you are right to get it checked out - it probably is from the mc, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Keep an eye on how you are feeling - temperature etc, so that you can giev your doctor the clearest picture possible.

hey girls, thanks all for your replies, i spoke to my GP and she said as long as no feeling unwell or smelly discharge to see how i go but to call back if my AF doesn't show as expected, am hoping that now this 'thing' has gone (quite liekly to be the bit of lining left behind) that i will now OV... fingers crossed anyways! Just so horrid that you think you back on the road to recovery and somehting jumps straight back at you!!! xxx
