Trying to conceive

I'm currently 11dpo and going away this weekend with the girls. Obviously there will be a big expectation that we all drink. I don't know what would be best. I'm obviously not keen to get really drunk just in case, but don't know if I should completely abstain either.
What would you do? What level of drinking (or not) do you think would be ok?

Go away and enjoy yourself. You could alternate alcohol with soft drinks until everyone is past caring then just switch to soft. If you drink slowly it's amazing how long you can make one glass of wine last. I've previously got the waitress on side if its cocktails and asked that every time I order a cocktail they make me the mocktail version but without saying anything. I didn't care what the waitress thought and it worked a treat!

Even if you do drink it's too early to be passed to baby anyway...the day before my BFP, I drank from 11.30 to about 8pm and all turned out ok. Try not to worry too much x

I'd just go away and carry on as normal, TTC takes over too many things I wouldn't want it to take my fun weekend too. As Gavi says it would be too early to cause as issue as well.

I'd say the same as others - have a few & enjoy yourself!

Like others say, go and enjoy yourself.

Enjoy yourself! Like DollyP said, TTC takes over so many things and it shouldn't take over a girly weekend! Have fun :-) xxxx

I would drink as normal until a BFP.

Thanks for the fab advice ladies! I saw all your messages before I left but couldn't reply as no signal! Anyway, I took your advice and drank as usual. Temp dropped this morning though so think I'm out anyway! Just as well I did drink!
