I saw a programme on TV a few months back and it had a piece on how cheese after after a meal helps nuterlise the PH in the mouth which in turn reduces the risk of tooth decay. I was thinking about giving my little one cheese after his dinner to help protect his 8 teeth!
What do you think?

Wow! That's amazing although I bet for every expert that says this another one will dismiss it! For example doctors will say fruit is good to snack on but dentists will say that fruit should be part of a meal and not a separate snack as it's bad for teeth!! Not sure you can win but I think a bit of balance is needed really.
So do you do this? I have to say whilst I try and keep their baby teeth in good condition I don't worry too much because they're supposed to fall out anyway!!

OMG I was only talking to my friend about this the other day. She does it mainly after fruit rather than meals. So if the kids have an apple etc she always makes them have a little square of cheese or a drink of milk for those exact reasons. I think I will also start this. My husbands teeth aren't the best despite the amount of effort and care he gives them and I assume teeth problems may well be hereditary. xx

I've never even thought of this, might give it a go / ask my dentist next visit!
