As Annable now eats toast, I tried KRH's Garlic Mushroom Pate. It was really easy to make, tasted delicious and was actually quite nice as 'grown up food'. I must confess that Mummy and Daddy had some on oat cakes. Perfect for making both adults and the little ones to enjoy.
I would really recommend this recipe.

I got round to making Harjeet's dahl recipe and it seemed to go down well! Sorry no photos!
As for finger foods - I am not sure if there is another thread, but will have a quick look and get back to you! But to start you off, have you tried well cooked carrot sticks? Nice and soft
Rae - check out the BLW board here - should be lots of ideas there! Have fun

I read Thinkweiss's recipe for cheese/pesto swirls and adapted it to make cheese and tomato whirls. Annabel loved them, they were the perfect finger food for her ( 7 months old), she sucked and chewed on them and could hold on to them easily. I would recommend them, either the cheese and pesto (I'll try those next time) or tomato and cheese. They would be quite nice to serve at parties too (for the adults).
Perfect finger food!!

Wow Harjeet, your sweet potato, carrot and lental curry was amazing. It tasted so good Annabel loved it, but so did we. I am going to make it again but add chick peas and serve with rice and naan for the adults. I used green lentals as had no orange, but it still tasted fab. I have frozen some so will give Annabel another portion this week, she honestly couldn't get enough of it.
