This is the very reason why the Jeremy Kyle show has a much better track record in resolving children and parent contact and residency issues. During an average show, resolutions are regularly found for up to 4 cases…

The reason why the Jeremy Kyle shows works is because of the following:

1) Public condemnation for mothers trying to alienate father
2) Public condemnation for mothers who lie
3) Only qualified psychologist and professionals are allowed to make recommendations
4) Total public transparency
5) Both parents a viewed equally
6) Most importantly the child’s best interests are always kept paramount

The UK family courts adopt the following methodology:

1) All proceedings are kept privately, behind a suspicious curtain of secrecy
2) Mothers are encouraged to submit false allegations, lie to the police and under oath
3) Unqualified professionals are afforded full autonomy to make at time bizarre and dangerous recommendations
4) Mothers are viewed to be the primary carer regardless…
5) Far too often individuals reporting to court are way too focused on preserving their own livelihoods instead of what is clearly in the best interest of children
6) A band of aged family court judges who on the whole live lives which are completely detached from most cases they preside

How much is Sir Nicholas Wall and his merry band of family court judges paid?

What is the annual running cost of Cafcass?
How much government funding is charities like NYAS granted annually?
What is the average duration of a family court case, plus how much does the average case cost?

What mothers fail to consider is at the point a child reaches 18 and they no longer receive maintenance payments, the father will then have a lot more “disposable income”. Just in time to pay for their children’s education. How convenient would it then be for the father who is now back in contact with his children to disclose how many lies their mother told...

It’s a pity that in 20 years Sir Nicholas Wall may well be long dead, and may never be held responsible for bizarre rulings like this. There will then be a culture of middle aged women for whom not even their own children will want to have any contact with them.

I guess Sir Nicholas Wall may needn’t worry about saving for a pension, because the increased demand for Prozac by middle aged women may be sufficient for him and his merry band of aged family court judges to have a subsidised life, paid for by pharmaceutical companies…
