Talkback: Michael Jackson’s children: who gets custody?

The children continued staying with the nanny the first few days. Apparently, Micheal's mom has them now. The children were primarily being raised by the nanny when Micheal had them - apparently he was in so much pain and depression the last few years - she played a major role in their lives and of course you know he has always been super close to his mom, Jermaine and Janet.

The mom, the dermatologist's receptionist, Debbie Rowe, of the oldest two, Prince I and the girl, gave up custody at one point, but apparently some legal paperwork reinstated it a moment back. I don't doubt that she will stage a custody battle for them. After all, techinically she is the only remaining bioloical parent -- on paper. It might be argued that they don't know her and should remain with the grandmother. The youngest child, Prince II, or Blanket has a surrogate mom, who has never made herself known - she may or may not pop out of the woodwork now. If not, the Jackson clan will probably retain rights to her. I can't see Debbie Rowe allowing those kids to grow up in that family --but then again they paid her enough money to stay away this long. It's a saga of Elvisnesque and Bob Marleyan porportions. And, the ones I feel saddest for, are the children. They have been through so much already.
